I didn't say associated. I said affiliated.Yeah right. Guilt by association is neither a thing in America, nor anywhere else. For very good reasons.
And yes America has made all types of sweeping conspiracy laws to target suspected criminals.

Parents. Plural? Good one!
Well there is a father....out there......somewhere....
Mental illness also includes Sociopathy which in incurable. This is one of those cases where carrying a weapon would have been justified and could have helped. But alas, there are too many other nut jobs who kill people out of the blue.
Yup, because the righties would have turned the world upside down and it would all be crimeless, prosperous utopia, while doing everything to reduce accessibility to mental health care. The tales righties tell themselves.
Throwing the key away isn't going to help. At the very least rehabilitation should be attempted. She is 14.

I agree there is a possible mental health issue. But if there is a mental health issue, she should be diagnosed, treated and rehabilitated. Why should she be executed? The Nazis executed mentally ill people. Are we Nazis? How would you know she cannot be helped in any way before it is even tried?
These younger generation girls are different. Things like this are more common now. It's so rare to see violence from girls like this, in particular the swarming attack. Pretty much unprecedented. Their home life must
be awful to produce girls who would do this. Keep them away from society for an extended period.
What I meant was being a sociopath goes beyond most mental illness. Its a wirings crossed in the brain that results in no empathy for others. And is imo the major cause of most problems in the world. Happens in about 1% of the population. And how to you give someone empathy?Mental disorders or illnesses are never curable. They are only treatable and manageable. As long as it is diagnosed and the disorder is treated and managed, it should be okay. I agree, though, that before being diagnosed and treated, bail should not be given, to prevent self harm, or harm to others. At the very least they should be in a facility under close supervision of healthcare professionals, until a suitable course of treatment is identified.
While I agree with you about locking her up, let's be honest, that will never happen and when they do go to trial, if they go (which I doubt), nothing will happen to her of any consequence. You make a great assumption that she has parents. More likely a single parent household with little to no supervision.
No doubt now this girl needs to be locked up until her trial for the 2022 stabbing.
The only mention of race I could find is thisI must have missed the post where someone brought up her race. Can you please point it out? Thanks.

I see this happen alot. sad, and can't really be stopped." Now, as Toronto Police hunt for an alleged accomplice to Thursday’s stabbing at a TTC station during rush-hour – a 21-year-old Black man, about 5-foot-11, who was wearing all black clothing "
She had an adult mentor helping her find success in society and she still went off the rails ???
The issue with rehabilitation is that she has to be willing to do the work as well full stop. She can do things half-assed or try and hold on to the thug-life/street cred idea.I sincerely hope she gets the help she clearly needs. “Locking her up” is only going to make things worse, especially at this pivotal stage in her life. She needs rehabilitation, not imprisonment.![]()
I'm curious, What about this guy too? Do you hope he just gets the rehabilitation and help he needs, not imprisonment?I sincerely hope she gets the help she clearly needs. “Locking her up” is only going to make things worse, especially at this pivotal stage in her life.
