^^^^^^^^^. :thumb: ^^^^^^. :canada: ^^^^^^^ :D Thanks for the reminder mr. Real!

As it's always said, a win is a win! A few things of the where have we heard this before category : When will we learn to close games out (earlier the better, helps rotation go to 11 or 12), when will we have a game where starters and bench both go off? I'm sure there are other observations but AWIAW! Kudos to bench for big contributions!

Wow, now 7 games at home in a row to balance the schedule. And no Backtobacks either!:happy:Nets, Celtics, Heat, Clippers, Wizards, Knicks, a Pistons then back on the road to Denver and another rough road trip. If the boys rest up and get their focus on, I expect at least 6-1 if not 7-0 for this stand. Do that and we separate ourselves from the pack and provides the MOMENTUM for the rest of the year. Only 35 left after this stand. let's hope the Nets stay in form on Monday......have a great weekend all......:thumb:

At close to the halfway point of the season, the Raps are on track for a 52 win season and most likely more.

Quietest winning streak in the league right now. :eyebrows: Raps actually gained 2 games on Cavs with these wins in London and home!:D we should be on top after this home stand, no?!? :eyebrows::wink: Well, Nets suck so we'll take that win even if it takes 45 minutes to put them away! Still calling for that 6-1 home stand and the next 3 will be the test for this stand. Celts, Heat and Clippers and throw in the Wiz after that. The team is showing its better than last year but we all know that the consistency isn't there yet and until DC returns we still don't know the true heart of this group is.
F4, if there is no second half swoon like last year then I see the Raps over 50 and 2nd in the East. Primarily based on wiping up the Atlantic against Celts, Nets, 76ers and Knicks and padding the win column. Obviously, once DC gets back this could be a strong group but till then the dynamic duo needs to stay efficient, bench needs to produce and support and of course, good health to all!:thumb::thumb:
Bring on the Celts and Amir's return to TO. He should be given a heroes welcome and we win the game anyways..!!!

Yes. Amir is truly a class act. He use to have a "roll with Amir night" once in a while for his twitter followers. He usually takes his followers bowling, roller skating, or dinner, and he would pay the bill for everyone. I remember going to Mid-Evil times with him three years ago. He took pics with everyone and thanked everyone for coming. We should have thanked him for buying 40+ people dinner. I believe that he is also having one before the game on Wednesday. He is one of my favourite Raptors of all-time.

They are 26-15 with a home stretch ahead which could make that record even better but why am I not excited ? Why do I not have any confidence ? That 4 game sweep had such a negative effect on me and ruined the enjoyment of this season ... They need to make a Price type of deal at the dead line ( have excess of 1st round pics ) to get this city excited about this team again ..

Thought I was the only one that felt this way. I've only watched five games this year.

27 - 15 ( 2014/15 ) and now 27-15 but way tougher schedule this year ... With a well rested healthy Carol and maybe a pick up at the deadline and this team might do something that will make us forget about last years playoffs ...

Rguy, definitely agree with that though the trade deadline deal may not be available just the way the league is this year and what's available in the front court. But I think when DC returns we'll get a better read on squad and I still think they will have a better run this year. Finishing strong and grabbing 2 seed would definitely be a bonus. But the D has to return if they want that to happen.
Well, from a heroes' return to another return of the 4 variety. The Raps better be "working for the weekend " this time around with the Heat and Clipps in. Again, quietest 6 gamer in a while! Boys, do this home stand in style and the wagon may get a lot heavier soon!!:thumb:

Lowry got voted into the starting line up for the all-star game. Now its up to the coaches to pick DeRozan as one of the reserves.

I doubt Masai makes a move before the trade deadline. He will wait to see what happens in the playoffs. If we bow out in the first round, I expect him not to sign Demar, or do a sign-and-trade with Demar and deal Lowry.

Nice to see Lowry get voted in .. The fans got it right cause he has been one of the top guards in the East all season . let's hope he continues at that level cause he wasn't the same after the all star game last season

A nice koi kidding that we have a matchup of allstar guards the day after announcement! BTW I mean DD against Dwade, of course..lol.:thumb:

RGUY, good on the fans for getting KLo in. As deserving as anyone in the East!:clap2: the summer of body shaping and conditioning will and should make him stronger for the stretch body wise and knock on wood for everything else! BPSmurf, I agree if we go down your road, we'll have a Leafs type rebuild in Raptorland this summer. BUT, I don't think we are headed down that way. I think we are taking that fork in the road and be better than last year. In fact, I'd bet the farm on that but I'll leave that to TW cuz that's how he rolls! Lol!:hail::happy:

So the return of CB4 and the new Clips without Blake on the weekend. These two should make the boys wake up on D else my bank might go tits up yet! These will be a tough weekend to defend so we'll see what this group is all, about. DC will be so missed on this home stand ! Enjoy the weekend, all!:hippie:

Oh yes ..Another win against a Heat team with Chris Bosh on it ... The Heat are trending downwards in the standings ..Chris Bosh without LeBron may miss the playoffs for second straight year .

Another win for the Raptors on their home stretch this time versus LAC. Now eight wins in a row and just two back of Cleveland. Starting also create a nice gap over Chicago who are next.

With Cavs firing their coach their is talk that Cassey should be coach of the Allstar game

:amen::hail:....And when you are on a quiet 8 gamer, it's even better, but holy shit-on-a-stick batman, that was like opening Pandora's box last night! That last night was as good as they have looked all year with all coming together in 48 mins for once (well, there was the first 10 but never mind..!). All those criticisms and flaws we all have discussed ad nauseum were all addressed in that game! Bench was super, defence was tough, Clipps never got back in and we got use the whole bench. Remember that wagon I discussed some posts back...? Well, it just started up and is warming itself up..!:thumb:

Now to complete this in style and stomp on the East for the rest of this stand! wiz, Knicks and Pistons are the kind of teams teams we need to feast on and create that separation. And again, without DC, this is starting to become interesting. When he returns I say it's a seamless addition and that our better days are still ahead. "cautiously optimistic" is now the prevailing sentiment but the Boys just need to take care of home court the rest of the week and guarantee DD's selection to the game!

A good win after a putrid start. This was probably Ross's best offensive game. He's been playing well lately. He hasn't looked lost on defense. Again, Valanciunas needs more shots. In the 1st, the Cllips were too focused on Demar and leaving Valanciunas alone. I don't know the guards on this team refuse to pass it to him.

I hope this team closes out the last three games with wins. We could be in a great position because the Bulls will be headed on a west coast trip. They have only played 19 road games. I don't want them in the 3rd position. I'd rather they face the Cavs in the 2nd round instead of us (if we make it that far).

Let's worry about 1st round before we can ever think about second round senerio's .. Something tells me this Cavs team is in trouble .. To much drama ..

Blake Griffin hurt in fight with member of team's equipment staff

Los Angeles Clippers forward Blake Griffin injured his right hand after hitting a member of the team's equipment staff during an argument, multiple sources told ESPN's Michael Eaves.

According to the sources, Griffin and the equipment staffer got into an argument in a restaurant during the team's trip to Toronto. Griffin hit the man, who then left the restaurant and went outside. Griffin followed him outside and hit him again.

Griffin suffered a suspected fracture in his right hand in the incident, sources told ESPN's Marc Stein and Ramona Shelburne early Tuesday morning.

The equipment staffer's face was injured and he was treated at a local hospital, sources told Eaves. Both Griffin and the equipment staffer were sent home after the incident.

Sources told ESPN that the hand injury is expected to keep Griffin out "a matter of weeks, as opposed to days."

L.A. plays at Indiana on Tuesday night and at Atlanta on Wednesday before returning home to square off with the Lakers on Friday at Staples Center.

Griffin, who has been out with a quadriceps injury, originally hoped to return to the lineup during this road trip. The Clippers have gone 11-3 in his absence.

If this is true, Griffin is a complete idiot. I wonder what restaurant? Any intel out there?
