What an innocent play .. Lady luck couldn't help herself it seems .. The fact Heat center also out may help in the fact they aren't deep at Centre
unfortunately Raps aren't that deep either. If Biz comes to play, and I believe he will, won't get much scoring but the rebounds and blocks should be there. Bebe may get some meaningful playing time, lets see if he is a keeper.
Yahoo reporting Whiteside day to day.

News is out that JV will miss the remainder of the Heat series. What a big fucking blow for the Raps and for the city. He's been our most consistent player on both ends of the court. Our only rim protector now is Biz, but he is playing like shit this series. Raps have no choice but to go small and play Pat at the 5. It worked okay but if hassan comes back we are FUCKED!
Don't despair! I have faith in Biz. I think he plays much better when he knows he's gonna get heavy minutes and not off the bench.

Hopefully we can get past these guys and JV comes back strong vs LeBron. The Raps are in a good position with homecourt advantage regained.

Hopefully Whiteside is a little gimpy and he doesn't dominate.

D Wade dissed our anthem by taking practice shots while the young lady was singing....what a shmuck

I just heard about it this morning. One thing I will say, the stadium didn't do a good enough job. The lights should be dimmed like in hockey. There were still a lot of people milling around so it was hard to even noticed Wade was doing that. In hockey, you can barely move or you will stick out like a sore thumb. NBA needs to implement something like dim lights so this doesn't happen. Dwayne Wade is an A-hole as he pretty much justified his actions with pretty much no reason other than that's what he wanted to do.

Between Biz, Bebe, JJ and Scola there will be a solution until Whiteside returns. It's a tough loss for sure but still believe if they play to their capabilities we will be okay. All said, tonight would a great win. Hopefully they learned a lesson last game four and start this game. With focus and intensity.

WEGZ up in Vaughan. Get there early. It fills up by game time.
WEGZ is overpriced, The All Star Grill on the east side of Jane-Rutherford is a better option. Their wings are better, it's just down from D'Aversa's Pizzeria.

Like I said, a sprained ankle is a problem for a big man like JV. If the Raps make it past the Heat, he'll be back for Game 3 of the semi's - the earliest.

We should be heading home 3-1, instead we blew it. We did not lose because derozan shot like shit or lowry got fouled out. We lost because of dwayne casey's coaching inability! He draws the most pathetic plays out of time outs and why would you take biz out? Is there something i dont understand? You tweak a lineup that got you up 9 points and in cruise control? Sorry im just frustrated by casey's coaching, need to vent.

Tell me about it, Biz was amazing tonight, did he even play in overtime? So frustrating. Game 5 is gonna be epic though! Can't wait!

I do think we miss Amir Johnson .. Scola playing for his national team almost every summer seems to have run out of gas ..

Ross is playing well and seems to have the confidence of the coach right now .

DeRozan what can you say ? Horrible night

Two mice right now fighting over who gets eaten by the python. That was difficult to watch. Being a raps fan, I see how awful we are playing, but I keep looking at the score to see that we are often still the better team. Like watching high school ball sometimes.

Wade is a man among boys out there. It can pretty much score at will. You just knew when corey joseph missed that last shot, we were done for.

well said.

Missed most of the game last night and what I did see was bad basketball and futility on the Raps part.

I still have a problem with Ross. As I said I only saw the last 10 min. or so, and he did nothing good in that time. Looked at his numbers and like most if not all the bench players, he was a minus. DeRozan might be smart to pick up his option as he is fucking awful!

http://www.cbssports.com/nba/eye-on...rozan-misfires-again-during-his-contract-year

I add my two cents on Derozan. It seems to me that he played SCARED. He scared to get hurt further and it will affect his max contract. He and Ross looked as if they forgot they're playing in the playoffs! No speed. No hustle. Period.
Casey might allow DW to score 50 in a game. But, his team can't figure out how to score 52 to win the game! Casey is too happy oriented by setting his defence at half court and let DW fly downhill on almost every possession. Raptors should stay in the offensive zone more often and fight for rebounds.

It's a game we shall all forget as a Raptors fan!!! None of them played the game the way it should be as I said earlier when it comes down to this stage it's all about the mental. Very disappointed about the last night game! That's not the Raptors I remembered. I have only watched the first half and I couldn't finish watching the rest of the game. It's sad to watch DD losses his confidence completely under the pressure. Come on, DD, it's the time to show your respect to your die hard Raptors fans! We have supported you from day one till now through all your journey as a star of NBA---it's the time to shine your best for your hard working, your talent, your desire, your availability, your own faith... As we all know, you might be gone soon but before then as a fan I would like to see one more time of our own very best NBA all star---DD!!! There are so many things that you could afford to loose in life but there is one thing no human being could ever afford to loose is: your own faith---intrust of yourselves!

It was a very rushed. inpatient game for Raptors last night. As bad as the heats played last night if the Raptors could play just like themselves normally it would be a easy win game for them.

I truly believe that Raptors is a better team then Miami heats this year. Raptors just have to be who they are and ignore about everything else. Go out have fun...

I would highly recommend Raptors watch how LB handled the last 2 minutes in game 4 Cavallers vs Hawks. LB was extremely confident. calm. in control of the game and as a result the game just went the way he wants.

Let's go Raptors! Let's go DD!!!

Fingers are still crossed!

Sigh...have to agree with you all, that was just another playoff story to add to the "How not to do it" playoff run this year. Half full says it's still a best of three and we have home court but as you put it so succinctly Wonk, longer the series goes the shorter the Conf finals will be!!!! Again, one more moment to endure tomorrow...! let's go Raps!!

The team is playing with no confidence, or "swagger" as they often say in basketball. It all starts from their two best players' struggles and rubs off on everybody else . JV is the only one who's got the "it" but he's out.

I thought the Hawks were the toughest match in the east but they were dominated and swept by Clevland. I really don't think either Miami or the Raps can win one game against them.

Eleven games into these playoffs DD has just confirmed what a lot of us have thought, that he's a good player but not a great player who's worth the max money. If we had a Paul George instead, and if JV were healthy, we could probably give Clevland a fight.

I was hoping that the Hawks would put up a good fight against their nemesis as well. Hawks get swept by the same team two years in a roll! Back to the Raptors, I am starting to believe in a conspiracy theory from the NBA to pair MIA&CLE in the conf. finals. Raptors players look like they got the memo a while ago..lol! Because how can you explain that Lowry got 30 pts one night and foul out the very next game??

I thought Indiana was better than us. I don't feel that way about Miami. I think we win this series, and then we either get blown out by Cleveland or we incredulously stretch them to 5 or 6 games all while we continue to scratch our heads wondering how we keep winning like this. LOL

On the US NBA shows the majority of the analysts are talking about a MIA/CLE series, not giving a thought about the Raptors.

Cavs must be licking their chops seeing a old Heat team going a possible 2 consecutive 7 game series and 3 overtime games

Very disappointed in last night's outcome. DC should have played biz instead of DD. Derozan look lost out there in all facets. Can't make the jump shot, can't hit free throws, and can't make easy layups. Biz would have been able to alter some of the easy lay ins Miami had last night.
Wade's game tying layup, Biz could have made a difference in stopping.
