Never mind the soccer players, what's with all the cheap shots to the baby makers?

No wonder thewalker's girl wont show up! Draymond Green should have gotten tossed.

Is there a fix? I doubt it. Is it really worth that much more money in having LeBron play an extra 4 to 7 games in the finals? OKC and GSW both sell a lot of jerseys and are popular in their own rights. Curry is the number one jersey, Durant and Westbrook are 5 and 7. So regardless of who wins in the west there will still be a lot of people tuning in. Not to mention of Lebron's fans..... how many are hardcore fans of the game? Some of them will watch the finals regardless.

LeBron to me is a pussy. Oh he's happy to throw elbows driving to the basket but when Kyle pushes all 270 pounds of him he fell like he got run over. That foul by his own teammate was priceless. He could have an amazing soccer career in his future. Ever since the Decision to take his talents to South Beach, I hated the guy. Need more evidence he is a pussy? He subtweeted about his own team, if you are a leader..... speak to them. Don't use social media.

As far as I am concerned each season for the Raptors is about building legitimacy. I think they have done that in spades. The next big step is to sign a significant free agent.
well said!!!

OMG Lebron fell on his ass like he was felled by an axe. This is too funny! What a faker. His own teammate too.

Question: Is there no penalty in the NBA for embellishment?
After watching that play in slomo, you can see how Carol planned it, looked like he purposely directed Thompsons arm towards LBJ's head then Carol caught Jame's chin with his elbow. I thought Carol was going to get tossed when the refs were watching the replay.
Yes there are fines for faking fouls, though rarely enforced.

The reality is that they want two American teams in the finals (just like in the NHL and MLB). Huge TV audience (money) at stake.
They have the huge TV deal locked up and so they get paid no matter what the audience ... I think it is the story that drives audience and that is why NBA loves Lebron in the Final

If you don't believe the league's effort to stage a GS-Clev final, then how do you explain the decision not to suspend Draymond Green for his blatant groin kicking foul ? It's a disgrace that they even tried to cover up their intent by saying that it was unintentional.

Wow.

I think we have learned a few things about the r aptors.

One.... they didnt give up after the first teo games

Two.... when clicking they can blow out the cavs

Three.... they can win a close game vs the cavs

Four.....biyombo is not afraid to get in LeBron face

Five..... despite the ref problems they kept their cool

Suddenly it is now a three game series.

Also now there is a chance that jv might play.

OKC with two superstars is must see TV .. I will agree Cavs out and T.O in would make ESPN cry

Raptors win Raptors win .... DeRozan right ... We didn't believe them all season and at worse will have lost in the Conference final by 6 ..

Cleveland is an offensive juggernaut, but Irving, Love, and Smith are pylons on defense.

Casey gets my respect for putting Lowry and DeRozan in positions to score.

Cleveland is finding out what a real defence can do. Patterson, JJ, Carroll, Joseph, and Big Biz are making me proud of the D they are playing.

Stephen A. Smith has just apologized to all of Canada on ESPN. Gotta love it.

The NBA has lost credibility with me.

Why was Draymond Green not suspended? And how on Earth was Biz's block on LBJ considered a foul? I haven't seen a block of that magnitude since Ben Wallace blocked Shaq in 04.

The officiating is brutal, protecting the glamour team, FANGU TO THAT.

I played another Frankie song prior to the National Anthems, it's for the refs.

I like the Raptors... and congratulate them for getting to the Eastern final, but the only way they're going to win a game is if LBJ breaks a leg sometime before game 4.

We don't have a superstar, and that's what we need to win a championship.
OK, I guess I'm eating my own words...

When the Raps won game 3, I figured it was because LBJ, and company took a night off because they wanted to win at home... now, I hafta say, the Jays could learn a thing or two about giving your all to win, by these Raptors! Aside from their opponents on the court, they also have to overcome the adversity of the officiating!

As much as I don't like Steven A Smith..... I understand why he speaks the way he does. He's paid to be opinionated. I do however appreciate that he on a few occasions will apologize or recant. For example, he ate his words about the Knicks draft pick Porzingas (spelling?)

Wow!!! Raptor wins again! I am speechless and so proud of being a Raptor's fan. Cheers to our own very best NBA all stars: KL and DD as well as the coach DC!

Let's go, Raptors! Go harder on defense, fight harder on the rebounding balls for both defense and offense situations.

xoxoxo

well Raps have certainly exceeded my expectations! Raps barely got by Indiana in round 1 and again Miami in round 2. They get blown out in the first 2 games in Cleveland, and then , win both games at home to tie the series and give the faithful HOPE! I would love to see them win the next game in Cleveland and then win it on home court.
Watching the game last night I thought the officiating was biased, today, looking at the stats PF 16 vs 17, makes me think they were just letting the boys play. Kind of weird Cavs had no personals until midway through the third!
No matter what happens, the Raps have either met or exceeded most fans dreams for this year, win or lose we should all be proud of what this team has achieved. Keep the core, add a couple of pieces, and this team will be even better next year!

Winning Game 4 is significant, JV will be ready for action by Game 6.

I'll admit when the Raptors aren't in the playoffs I don't pay attention the NBA. When I did it was for the Detroit Pistons. Jack Armstrong compared our current team to the 04 Pistons, not quite. Presently the Raps don't have a power forward in Sheed's class. Comparing them to the 1989-90 Pistons is a perfect fit. The Pistons had Isiah Thomas and Joe Dumars at the guard positions and three defensive grinders up front: Rick Mahorn, Bill Lambeer and Dennis Rodman.

You could make a case for either team.

I think the pressure is on the cavs.

The r aptors are in uncharted territory. Finishing the season with record wins was step one. But i think they were unsure of how good they are and thus played down to the pacers and heats level. Then along come the cavs and psychologically they probably thought they were going to lose. Game three gave them hope. Game four should give them confidence.

How many teams could have made it to conference finals with unpredictable play from their two best players and compete when their third option went down?

If jv is able to come back he needs to be ready to play limited minutes unless he can prove he is at least as good as Bismarck.

With bq as a free agent do you resign him knowing you have jv? Any chance they could play pf and c together?

Dont think we can sign both derozan and biz. Derozan is looming for max and biz is going to get a huge raise.

...The last 96 minutes of ball details all that this group needed those 100 games played so far this year to learn to do. Dawg, it took that long to figure out how to close games out, both the easyway( Game3) and the epic way! That fourth quarter last night was as good as it will get between two teams searching for a win. These two games were pure Raptors! Never easy, never pretty but they get the job done! We have 48 hours to enjoy and hope and dream.......

Let's go Raptors!!:canada::thumb:
