It stems from this:
"The FIA has launched an investigation into Toto and Susie Wolff following allegations of potential conflicts of interest, as reportedly raised by Formula 1 team principals. These concerns stem from the possibility of the Wolffs having access to confidential information that could give Mercedes an unfair advantage."

Shock result! Can history repeat itself.

Red Bull made adjustments in 2021 allowing them to close the gap with AMG Mercedes, they have been virtually unbeaten ever since. Ferrari made adjustments prior to Australia, can they consistently compete with Red Bull.

Ferrari better think long and hard before they let Carlos Sainz go. Lewis Hamilton has passed his best before date, there's no benefit to him joining Ferrari. Carlos Sainz hasn't even reached his peak yet. Ferrari could be on a bounce back, they'll need Sainz to accomplish it. Hamilton fuck off.

Exactly what I said. Lewis is past his best before date, but he still wont play second fiddle to Charles, because he is chasing his 8th title. It will also be wrong for Ferrari to prioritize Hamilton over Charles who is their future. It will create horrible team dynamics. It makes no sense to let go off Carlos a young driver with a future. But I think Carlos will find a better seat. Perhaps RedBull will snag him and replace Perez.

It was a risky move, Ferrari purposely kept their SF 24 car out of the Gulf circuits. The SF 23 was used for the Arab races. It was encouraging to see Le Clerc overtake Perez coming out of the pits. Of course Red Bull will respond, none of us want to see a repeat of 2023 where Mad Max wins everything and lives happily ever after.

...Hey Hey Ho Ho, Carlos Sainz mustn't go!

One of my favorite films is Rush, Daniel Bruhl was amazing as Niki Lauda, Chris Hemsworth proved he could act as James Hunt...Uuuuuuugh.

Forgot which video I saw but even if half of the things are true, Lance needs to go and enjoy his Dad's billions. He seems to show zero interest in the actual inner workings of F1, didn't care to see Aston Martin's F1 facility and has this massive "zero fucks" attitude about everything.

Imagine being able to get into F1 because your Dad bought into a team and you act like that?? Window licker is a bang on description of him.

Max is crazy, I can't even express into words how impressive that guy is, granted the car helps but what he's capable of doing with it, crazy!
Good analysis. I never thought of it that way.

EDIT- I just watched the race highlights.... the window licker still managed to bring home some points! Of course, Aloonso was the superior driver. But in terms of performance and sportsmanship buy gracefully getting out of the way of faster cars.

Imagine being bored when you're on the F1 circuit and around all that noise, meaning the people and the energy.

I've been to dozens of F1 races, most in the Paddock Club and it is indescribable. Except for the VIP Pit Walks, I didn't often get into the pit when people were working, and never during a race but you are right. Incredible people, you can't imagine the professionalism and how finely tuned even the back marker teams operate. There is nothing like it! And the sound!!!!! Back in the 2002-2003 BMW V10 engine days, the noise HURT even through the earplugs! It shook my bones and still gives me goosebumps. I haven't been to a race in the current V6 Turbo era so can't compare but I imagine it is still awesome. But it really has become too expensive. My way was always a fully paid ride and can't imagine paying a couple thousand for a weekend in Montreal now. But .. mayyyybee if it's a nice weekend I might try a last minute road trip this year!

If anyone gets the opportunity, go! It's like a magic mushroom trip in terms of the experience being indescribable. If you are a fan of F1 it really is worth going at least once!
