That's the beauty of 24 - they don't follow the "formula" like every other show. Don't you just love the writing? Even if you can hazard a guess as to what they'll do with the missile, it will probably be way off.

Hard to believe things will wrap up in 2 hours.

Yeah it is hard to believe that the show is almost done. With the Chinese government now gunning for Jack and who knows what's going to happen with that missle, not to mention the crazy president. I think they are gearing up for some sort of twisted ending.

Lost track of how many shows left (actually, hours I guess since the last show will run for two hours) but I suspect it will end with the missle redirected to a rural area, some casualties but not the disaster the terrorists hoped for.

And Jack?? Well, to aviod all-out war with the Chinese the Americans will turn him over as a rouge agent. Season ends.

Next season starts with the Chinese releasing and asking HIM and the Americans for help because the are under seige from the North Koreans.

. . . or to go really way out (this is 24, after a!ll) the Chinese are under seige from the planet Alpha (after all Jack has dealt with just about every on-earth crisis an anti-terrorist can face).

this show is so exciting I watch it live. I am affraid my TIVO won't work. This show is the most exciting thing on TV in decades. I like bringing back Mia Kirshner from Season One great touch. I think Tony won't get offed they may need him again.

That Mia Kirshner chick is tenacious. Season 1, 2 (was she in 3) and now 4. Maybe she's related to Jelena aka Nina Meyers.

I hope she doesn't kill Tony. That would be terrible not because he's great but because it would be so cliche if he was killed right after the decision he and Michelle made.
