Someone on another thread mentioned the 3web Internet provider.

I pay about $40/month for Rogers Interntet, but 3web is about $30/month. Unbundling my Internet and cell phone would cost me about $4/month, so the savings to me would be about $6/m. I could probably save at least that much by switching to Rogers Lite.

Does anyone have any 3web stories to share (or other cable Internet providers)? Thanks in advance.

call rogers threaten to cancel, ask for retentions, they will price match no problem at all.
I do that too all the time with cable phone and cell. The key is to be polite but serious about canceling. When you get tranfered to retentions (the only people who can really cancel your service). Just tell them you bought a new PC from some small shop and they bundled in the 3web. More legit the story the more shit they will toss at you. If you have an attitude they will most likly just match the price... not give you monthS free

do go to 3web. 3web is wholesale rogers access, meaning its actually rogers but on over constipated lines. 3web leases access from rogers for resale to the consumer. 3web used to do dial up as well, maybe still do, but that was just Sprint Canadas dial up service again at a higher contension ratios. And 3web have a lot of issues with there network. I dont think the frustration will be worth the savings.
