We have issue with some of the racist comments made in this very thread. I don't see why he should be allowed to make similar offensive comments regarding mental illness.

Sadly, it's par for the course with a few posters. A couple of them went ballistic because I said a man convicted of 1st degree murder is black (because he is black). I also said Jennifer Pan is Chinese but that didn't attract the same outrage.

Please don't use me for your race war. This thread is not about race. We don't even know if this is a mental health issue but Oarge needed to bring it up.

Also, I don't have a problem with saying the man is mentally ill. If he actually has a mental illness. That is a big difference from calling a person a psycho or nutcase. Which is his usually go to disparaging remark

This didn't sit well with the killer, he had an online image to protect. So he slaughtered them.

This nutcase is on his way to being declared "Unfit to stand trial" because of mental disorder and will be out on the street within couple of years. I hope I'm wrong.

Hate to disappoint you, but there is no way that's an insanity plea.

Insanity as a criminal defence involves heavy psychotic delusions - i.e. that you thought that you were killing the Martian goblins of Satan. There is nothing in this guy's profile to suggest he was planning that defence or that it would possibly succeed.
