This is not so much a review as an experience. Not an entirely happy one. I debated about whether to even post it but thought given all the good advice I've received off this board, I should.
I was driving through Guelph around 10:30 the other night and thought I might drop into 400 Speedvale to see who was working. I had been there a couple of times in the past seeing Vicky and enjoyed myself. Vicky wasn't working this night so I picked a nice Korean lady named Yo Yo. I asked if I could use the washroom first and then proceeded to the room and got undressed. Yo Yo came in a couple of minutes later (quite attractive I thought) and started the massage. We were just a few seconds into it when there was an obvious disturbance at the front and some yelling. Yo Yo covered me up with a towel and continued with the massage. Important to note that Yo Yo is fully clothed (or I think it's important). Anyway the disturbance continues and there is a knock on the door. Yo Yo anwers it and is asked to come out. It is obvious it is law enforcement. Oh great. The police have arrived and I'm the only naked person in the place.
A couple of minutes goes by and I'm wondering what I should be doing when one of the policemen then pokes his head in the door and says "Psst...quick get dressed" The tone of the voice was more friendly than confrontational...or that's the way I remember it. I got dressed and a few minutes later the officer came in and the friendliness was now gone....or that's the way I remember it. He gave me the third degree, told me that they're trying to close this place down and then told me to get out of there with a warning. "Don't get caught by me here again or you'll be halled in". He also told me that the best I could hope for was I wouldn't hear from him again. I was curious about what the worst would be and that would appear to be a subpoena if charges were to be laid. Discretion being the better part of valour I left passing the ladies who were arguing with the police.
So I was curious if they had indeed closed the place down. It was certainly open the next day when I drove by. So what is this? Nothing illegal was happening unless me being naked is against the law (which wouldn't necessarily be a bad law....but I digress). I don't pretend to know the difference between Guelph local laws and other areas. Are Guelph's finest just picking on this place? What about the other MPs? Are they trying to scare people like me away from this place?....which by the way likely has worked, since who needs this shit.
But it does seem sort of heavy handed to me given the plethora of places around that seem to be functioning right in front of the municipality.
