Never heard of that movie nor have I ever heard this song. Damn its good. Great vocals and just love the simple bass that is the backbone of the music.

Tweet was discovered by Missy Elliott. In 2002 she debuted with 'Southern Hummingbird' which in my opinion is one of the most underrated LP's of that era. Love this tune has a more lounge than dance club vibe.

Two remixes of my absolute favorite Vanessa Williams song. Such a beautiful and talented woman I can't get enough of her. A pure Nubian Princess.

The Comfort Zone (Quiet Storm remix)

The Comfort Zone (Slammin' Radio Mix). This one was remixed by the House legend Frankie Knuckles. RIP.

Tell me you wouldn't want to lick whipped cream off every single inch of Amerie's body. What a stunner. Sounds so good live too.

Here are few more from Brenda & the Tabulations...

And here's the trailer for Whit Stillman's "Metropolitan". Set in the late 50's or early 60's New York, it concerns the life of a group of wealthy young preppy socialites during debutante season in Manhattan. In addition to some of their debutante parties, it covers their frequent informal after-hours gatherings at a friend's Upper East Side apartment, where they discuss life, philosophy, and their fate, and form attachments...

Not relevant today, but quite popular when it was released in 1990.

The remix feat. Grand Puba. More up tempo with a hip hop feel

"Cool when you cause a cozy condition" is a lyrical sample of Slick Rick aka MC Ricky D from this classic old school joint

Del Tha Funkee Homosapien. West coast MC who I've always maintained has been one of the most underrated in his craft. He was part of the Hieroglyphics crew. His 4th studio LP was titled 'Both Sides of the Brain' and was released in 2000. Its my favorite from him. He produced most of the songs himself but this one here was produced by Domino. If you read the comments they adequately express what I've been saying all along.

I love the album artwork too.

"Press Rewind"

The producer Domino released his own material in the early 90's. This was his most well known joint
