I love Sunday mornings. Just relaxing, sipping on my coffee (with Baileys) and listening to great music. In the spirit of Thanksgiving I'm truly thankful for this thread that is now almost 500 pages long and still going strong.

How about a little Michael Wycoff. Early 80's jam "Looking Up to You". Reached #47 on the R&B charts. Produced by Leon Ware.

I love that about the Stones, it vaulted them up my list of favorite rock groups.
The Solomon Burke one is the original, correct? I actually preferred the Wilson Pickett version slightly.

For me the clear winner is Wilson Pickett's version. I did think this Stones cover was better than the "If You Need Me" one.
