Let me tell you a little bit more. It is a "free" site with links to lots of porn sites.You do have to sign up which I did quickly, using a hotmail address.
The part that interests me is the live cams. The girls are hot and they actually take it all off, with no payment required. Yesterday I saw a young lady please herself front and back with two big dildos.
Now the question-What is the catch? I wonder if this site may be using this lure of free web cams for some other purpose. The implantation of spy ware? I don't know. Perhaps I am paranoid.
I just upgraded my operating system (I am using a Mac powerbook with OSX) and given my Harddrive a thorough cleaning. One reason I did this was that I found out (suspected)that there was some sort of spyware in my system.
Now everybody tells me that Macs are safe from most virus, spyware, and trojans. But read the following and decide.
Much of this is speculation on my part. What I found out was that when I was connected to the web through my friend's DSL line that there was a huge ammount of activity on the system. He told me that it was actually in the form of uploads rather than downloads. This meant the his download/upload useage was significantly up when I was connected.
Now I know that (rather I think that) such things as live video feed will probably use up download gigs (not sure what to call this) . But why would the upload usage increase? Seems that some info was being uploaded from my computer.
I wonder if any of you tech guys have any ideas about what may have been going on. The problem seems to have been fixed as I wiped my Harddrive and have now set up a non-adminastrative user account for connecting with the internet. But I am also being cautious and staying off this site I mention until further notice.
But I did think that you guys may enjoy it-just be careful and have security in place.
Any ideas would be welcomed.
