a question re passports

okay a couple of questions with the recent publication of names contriversy is it still possible for one of the people charged with "communicating" or "found in" to get a passport ? and what if a pardon is obtained any difference ?

I don't believe any of that info is required or would reflect on your passport.
but it might stop US immigration from lettin you in, depending on the charges

A passport is proof of citizenship, nothing else

Every Canadian, unless barred by statue is entitled to a passport. The only reasons you may not be given a passport are:

1. You are parolee and have not fullfilled the terms of your sentence.
2. You are a person under suspision and the courts have ordered you not to leave the country (this usually includes surrendering of your passport).
3. There is doubt as to the validity of your citizenship.
