This question is for the ladies..

Given what you know, have experienced, have heard from and seen your girlfriends do...how would you rate men by race for dating [who would you date? or not date].. who has the best shot.. who the worst..please do not spout politically correct BS.. it is annoying... and disingenous

The categories are

White [north european]
White [south european]
Middle-eastern
Subcontinent [India, Pakistan etc]
of Chinese descent [han chinese and cantonese]
of Asian decent [vitenamese, korean, phillipino etc]
Black [west african- most from the US, caribbean]
Black [east-african- kenya etc.. get a map *S*]

Yes i have left out pacific islanders, Ainu and quite a few others but I believe the above list should suffice for the GTA

Well let the replies and/or flames begin

What an absurd question. There are as many different women out there with different tastes that makes your question irrelevant if you don't also know their ethnic backgrounds.
I consider myself as far removed from the politically correct crowd as I want to be, but this post just has flame written all over it because of the racial undertones. It almost seems like you are trying to bait someone with your question.

LUCIFER, are you blind or what? Where the hell is the option for Latin mestizo males? We are 400-million strong you know, it's NOT like we are a tribe of 3,000 people to forget about us.

Anyways, as a male, 100% straight but trying to think like a woman I will give you my choices if I were a woman:

I would choose asian oriental males. They are civilicized, soft, educated and polite. (white males fall in this category too but they are more rude and demanding). I would never date north europeans, they are boring compared to the south europeans, ever watched a Nordic dancing salsa or cooking spicy dishes?

If I wanted hard-core funny, outrageous and bad-attitude males I would choose blacks, either from Jamaica or American, or Latin males (spanish). They are fun, impulsive and exotic-- but watchout because they are also extremely jealous and violent towards women if they catch them flirting or eye-lashing at another male.

Somali and Kenyan blacks are very nice and polite people, they are also taller and more handsome than their American/Jamaican cousins but are more boring when it comes to dancing or club trotting. But I would choose them if I wanted a docile and educated husband.

Hindus and Middle Eastern would be my last choice for the reason that they are restricted by religion and cultural customs, as a woman I would not like them because they won't be able to take me dancing or drinking and would restrict my freedoms.

West Africans are waaay more different than Caribbean balcks. West Africans are mostly educated people and very smart, especially Nigerians, I don't know why you put them in the same category as caribbean/american blacks.

There are many SP's that are racist and I think these people should get the f*ck out of the business. I have seen some Montreal SP websites that read "no blacks/hindu types please", yeah right as if they were virgins or more worthful than the people they are descriminating against. I have not seen that yet here in Toronto websites but I have heard some SP's talk in a racist manner against orientals and hindus. Holy hell honeys, if you don't want to see these people than get the hell outta the business, don't make other SP's look bad. Money is money and a dick is a dick, or do ya plan to marry them?

This is too general a question and catagories too general also.

For example I see you lumped 'Asian' as 'Chinese' and 'Other'. Grouping Phillipino and a Korean together is like grouping an Icelander and an Italian together... maybe even worse. They have very little in common other than being in the same timezone. Actually East Asian would be better (N. China, Korea, Japan) and even that is subject to debate.

Alien - Quite contrary to what you think, people from India are quite fond of dancing and drinking. Go to any Indian cultural event and you will see that a major part of the activities involve dance. If you ever go to an Indian social event, especially a wedding, you'll see that drinking is not something that is discouraged!

DON you are right, Hindus drink-- and heavily.

I don't understand why Asians (orientals) are not bonded together like Latins are. I mean, a Korean is a billion miles different than a Vietnamese and a trillion miles different than a Filipino. Japanese are in another universe. They are not like latins that a white Argentinian is very close and sees a Guatemalan indian latin or a black Cuban as "his own, as "Hispanic". Asians are not like that. There is no bonding, maybe because they don't speak the same language.

But I've seen Vietnamese getting along well with Chinese, they usually have their businesses side-by-side.

holy crap, alien i thought you were trying to pick all kinds of men at the same time, so to make this question insignificant.

anyways, good answer, l like how you answer it in a 3rd person perspective.

I know this question was initially for the ladies but ...

I have dated Koreans, Japanese, Taiwanese, Jews and "White" Candians who have been here since ... I dunno ... Samuel de Champlain ... hehehe and guess what? My "puppy love" was with a Black girl ...

I don't give a shit where she's from ... as long as she likes me ... she can be from anywhere ...

Alien - I think language is a key factor as you mentioned. Also culturally, there are some major differences (East Asia vs South Asia) and not to mention ethnically (Philippines has a strong spanish influence). And in some cases where culturally two countries are not so different, there is long history of fighting and ill feeling among each other (Japanese occupation of Korea, Rape of Nanking, fighting between Vietnamese and Cambodians, etc).

Not sure how all the countries in Latin and South America get along but I am also assuming that the countries not have the long history of clashes that date back to 400 BC.

On the other hand, you'll see asians in N. America bond together a bit more. This is more out of a need to come together since the majority of non-asians lump asians together. As always seen in history, petty differences can be put aside by a greater 'threat' since they now have common ground. Perhaps many of the latinos have already established this common ground long ago (occupation from Spain/Portugal)?

Alien ... your observation of East Asians is totally correct. It is especially true for the Chinese. Fuck ... I don't understand why we Chinese are still fighting among ourselves. Somtimes I just got to call my own people "idiots" ...

The founder of modern China Sun Yat Sen wrote "The Three Principles of the People" and one of the principle was nationalism. Yet, Chinese people still don't know what the fuck nationalism is ... there is still alot of in-fighitng among Chinese ...

And thats one thing I like about Blacks and Latinos ... they know there are all "One" ...

Fuck man ... I hope the Chinese will eventually be united, learn what nationalism is and be like the Germans, Italians, Latinos and Blacks ...

Sorry but I got to disagree with the languge part. When I was in Japan I had no problem taking the subway because they were mostly in Chinese characters. Similarily, when I went to old buildings, temples and encountered traditional Japanese stuff ... I had no problem knowing what it was because it was all written in Chinese. I think in Japan and Korea, Chinese culture is still considered "high coulture" just because of its (Chinese) historical influence on the two other countries ...

Yet, I totally agree with the fighting part. Historically, Korea and Japan had been friends and China came to Korea's aid when Toyotomi Hideoyoshi tried to invade Korea. If you go further back into Korean history ... China and Korea had been friends and lived peacefully beside each other ...

And as for Asians in North America ... I totally agree with your observation as well ... although Asian North Americans are still quite factioned compared to the Latinos and Blacks ...
