A Shameless Plug

Or should I say plugs? I have a question for anyone who does, has had done, or who knows about hair restoration. I am balding, and really, really, really, don't want to. I've seen all those commercials for hair restoration, but we all know money talks to those "clients" paid to be there. What are your takes on it, and for those who have had it done, do you have any side effects or has your hair started receeding again? Your help is appreciated.

BSR, although I am not balding or anything like that ... I know how you are feeling and what your going through because my dad is experiecing the same thing.

Have you thought about shaving your head ? Some men look quite good with a clean shaven head. This hair style does not look good on my dad but maybe it will look good on you ...

I don't have a problem losing hair.. not even receding .. my head of hair is very full and thick.. and changing colour.

I am only 31 and 30-40% grey... so I just keep it VERY short so that it is more difficult to notice

I've noticed that the guys who go grey prematurely, usually end up with a thick, full head of hair, just as you've described WIYD, but they don't go bald. It seems to be one or the other.

My concern is that I aint even 30 yet, and baldness is on both sides of my family, which is why I'd even consider the plug route. Just want to know from people that've had it done, as I don't really trust the opinion of the salesperson.

Well I'm 35, also with a thick full head of hair, no signs of thinning at all. The thing is though, I wouldn't care if I was balding. I'm not one who believes in men getting transplants of hair or even dying their hair. Most people judge a man by his heart and his bank acccount anyways.

As my dad always says (also has a full head of hair at 68) "If hair was such an important thing, it wouldn't grow on my ass"
