In order to register as a Realtor they need to have no other job

In the case of police etc it requires employer to sign off there is no conflict of interest (eg by working while on job)
Exactly and what does the part you chose not to bold say now?
I'm NOT questioning what you didn't bold. It's obvious the officer did not get the sign off. What I am questioning is YOUR statement that IN ORDER TO REGISTAR AS A REALTOR THEY NEED TO HAVE NO OTHER JOB.

This statement like many others you've made on this board is provably false. The fact that you can't see that doesn't surprise me in the least because you're never interested in telling the truth. Only in trolling and hearing yourself pontificate to the rafters.

Carry on....

If he was working as a realtor while on duty that's fraud, hence the criminal charge. I'd rather they just can his ass we don't need dishonest people like that on the police force.
Yeah, I have no problem with him working a side job to make some extra coin.

But not when he's on the job. That crosses a line.

Years ago, I worked for massive corporation and the guy in the office beside mine owned a few houses that he rented out. He spent half his day on the phone sorting out BS associated with property management, tenants, showings, etc. I could hear right through the walls. I get that everyone has some personal shit that they need to sort out at work, we all do it. But this was excessive. Every other day it seemed. It actually drove me nuts. Thing is, he got away with it. (And he wasn't that good at his job either.)

"Paid duty officers" do it outside their policing work hours. My only concern is if it is a conflict of interest when they are hired by a bar that they might later have to bust for some criminal activity?
