BTW, I just noticed that all my conventional stations are recently listed as HD now. In other words, I believe that I don't have to add or jump to my favourites list, the HD equivalent of a conventional station, to see a regular channel in HD.

Can someone confirm this, or do I have to call Rogers?

When Rogers can buy sports teams and venues, etc. that means they're doing very, very well.
Ted Rogers (RIP) was one smart businessman. He and Conrad Black inherited roughly the same amount of money. Ted multiplied his inheritance a million fold, Conrad is almost broke even after all the money he stole from Hollinger.

He was a genius. Do you know that when he first ventured out into cable, he borrowed several million dollars from the Eaton Family at 13%?

The TD Bank Towers disrupted all the reception in the late 60s which spawned the cable TV boom.

Yes they do.. in fact if you have an HDTV you can get High Def with your old antenna.. that's how I get my TV.
From what I've heard is that you can get OTA channels but you need an HD antenna. TSN is not an OTA channel and you can only get it through satellite or cable.

HD antenna is a marketing term. If you have an old antenna on your roof from a few decades ago it will work just as well as something you buy today.
