Anyone been to the Hedonism resorts. Wife and I are thinking of going in May sometime. We would prefer Desire in Mexico but it is mostly booked up. Any input would be great.

We really enjoy Desire. We were thinking of Hedonism, but a lot of the people we met at Desire had been: some loved it, some hated it, but all their descriptions made us not want to go. For us, it is the single guys that are a problem, Hedonism allows single guys and we do not enjoy that.

Hedonism resorts are for the swingers.

And you don't think that the Desires Resort in Mexico isn't??? Trust me on this one guys, I bartend for a swingers club and they give away trips to both places and I have talked to people who have gone to both. The only difference, as was pointed out earlier in the thread, that Hedo excepts singles and Desires doesn't. Hope this helps.

The swinging at Desire is pretty mild. The last time we went there was one couple that were blindly hitting on everyone (no, it was not us), other than that it went on in private conversations leading to private get-togethers. At least until midnight. Unless you go during a life-style week, my guess is that at least 75% of the couples at Desire are just there to spice up their own sex life, not to swing with other couples.
