From Carney's own mouth in May

Now in October when he needs his budget passed

Are we going to see the same old BS with the NDP propping up the Liberal again?

These people don't work for you they work against you.

High taxes. High debt. High inflation. Low growth. Low productivity. Increased drug use. Revolving door justice system. A broken healthcare system. Mental illness and disability claim all time high. Mass immigration from 3rd world. Mass emigration from high net worth individuals. Hardly would call that being best for the country.

I quickly asked ChatGPT to fact check your statements.
Claim
Verdict
Context / Explanation
High taxes
⚠ Misleading
Canada’s tax-to-GDP ratio (~34.8%) is only slightly above the OECD average; not “extreme.”
High debt
⚠ Misleading
Federal net debt ≈ 32 % of GDP (2025 Q1), total government gross debt higher (> 100 % GDP). Elevated vs pre-COVID but manageable.
High inflation
❌ Not True
Inflation has returned near 2 % target in 2024–25 after the 2022 spike; no longer “high.”
Low growth
⚠ Misleading
GDP is growing slowly (~0.5 % Q1 2025). Not booming, but not in recession.
Low productivity
✅ True
OECD and Bank of Canada confirm weak labour-productivity trend; genuine issue.
Increased drug use
⚠ Misleading
Overdose deaths and toxicity are up sharply, but that shows a worsening crisis, not necessarily higher overall drug consumption.
Revolving-door justice system
❌ Not True
Loaded phrase; evidence shows court delays and bail-policy debate, not universal catch-and-release.
Broken healthcare system
⚠ Misleading
Wait times and ER strain are serious, yet system remains universal and functional. “Broken” exaggerates real problems.
Mental illness & disability claims all-time high
⚠ Misleading
Mental-health service use and disability claims rose post-COVID, but “all-time high” not verified across programs.
Mass immigration from 3rd world
⚠ Misleading
Immigration is at record levels (~470 k per yr), mostly from Asia/Africa. “3rd world” is outdated and pejorative.
Mass emigration of high-net-worth individuals
❌ Not True
Departures increased modestly, but no evidence of a “mass exodus” of wealthy Canadians.

Summary:
Out of 11 claims —
  • ✅ True: 1
  • ⚠ Misleading / Exaggerated: 7
  • ❌ Not True: 3
The overall statement paints an exaggerated, mostly inaccurate picture of Canada’s current situation.

All misleading claims.

There are two directions we could go:
a) less taxes - like america, where there is more drug use, more crime, more poverty, worse health care and biased legal system. All worse than here
b) more taxes on the rich - like Denmark or Norway, where there is less crime, less poverty, better health care.

You can do a Hungary or Argentina, or you can do a Scandanavian model.

Or you just just tax the rich and pay for the things that would fix health care and social issues.

You mean Bill-C5? Because like removing the Carbon Tax, it's foundation is based on stolen Conservative policy.

So how come you didn't moan and bitch?

I did I said it was a policy that would be replaced by a worse one, Carney knew that, but he was not willing to spend political collateral to argue the facts.
