Yeah, AI is making insane breakthroughs, but calling it "smarter" than top scientists is a stretch, it still needs experts to guide it and interpret results.

AI is just the computer gathering info, analyzing it, and then coming to a summarized conclusion.
It does it a lot faster than human can.

But for now it is all based on info that is out there done by humans.

It's still some years away before it can think for itself, if it ever comes to that.
