Me too, I use them mostly for buying presents for birthdays and XmasAnd I for one hope its a good thing, I have thousands of miles banked
Yeah. They give you 3 cents per litre discount. It probably saves me about $100/year. I don't have the phone app but it sounds cool. I don't have air miles so it sounds like about the same amount of work for me.I use my CAA & Air Miles cards at Shell gas stations. CAA gets me a gas discount, and the points do add up. There's also a Shell app I have on my phone that automatically applies the CAA and Air Miles plus my usual credit card number, so all I have to do is input the number of the pump I'm at, then my credit card PIN, and the pump is instantly ready for me to fill my tank, with the discount and points already applied.
For me the CAA part plus Air Miles points at Shell trumps the Esso and PetroCanada loyalty plans. Also for a while now Shell gives bonus Air Mile points if you drive enough to fill up with at least 30 litres of any grade of gas 3 times in one month.Yeah. They give you 3 cents per litre discount. Are there other gas companies that have good loyalty programs?
Where can you even use Aeroplan? All I know is from Air Canada flights and LCBO.Aeroplan been working best for me. Haven’t used Airmiles in ages.
I get more from my Costco gas card cash back and the gas is always 5cents cheaper than anywhere else. I am just lucky that I have them on usual drive routesI use my CAA & Air Miles cards at Shell gas stations. CAA gets me a gas discount, and the points do add up. Canadian Tire Gas gives you 3 cents CT money per litre, or more when there are special offers and/or paying with specific credits cards affiliated with Triangle Rewards Program. Esso gives you at least 10 PC Optimum points per litre.Yeah. They give you 3 cents per litre discount. It probably saves me about $100/year. I don't have the phone app but it sounds cool. This doesn't make sense. There are signs at gas stations NOT TO USE cells while filling up or else you will catch on fire.I use my CAA & Air Miles cards at Shell gas stations. I use the app while in my car. After I input my PIN the cell phone part is done. I leave the phone in the car when I actually use the pump. This doesn't make sense. There are signs at gas stations NOT TO USE cells while filling up or else you will catch on fire.
BTW smart with the points. But in my area Pioneer is the only one where gas is 0.05 less than others.
Aeroplan is having a BMO credit card for Airmiles (like before). You spend money on your credit card, and every month the balance counts toward a certain amount of airmiles. Pretty passive.Where can you even use Aeroplan? All I know is from Air Canada flights and LCBO.
I know Air Miles used to be at Sobey's, now Sobey's does Scene I think...Scotia also got rid of whatever travel points they had and now I have like $900 of Scene points.
Did it make you a better golfer? LOL!Best deal I ever got with Air Miles was buying 3 dozen Titleist Pro V1 golf balls for 700 air miles.
Oh Yeah, I am hitting the ball 15 yards farther, into the woods. LOL.Did it make you a better golfer? LOL!
