Another country starts flying gunships over your soverigen territory and points their weopons on "innocent" citizens of your country. Whould you consider them friend or foe?
Due to the open arms treatment between to long standing neighbouring countries, extremeist enter your country, without the knowledge of your largest trade partner, through your border checkpoint. Do you blame your own homeland security or the other guys lack of "security". They got past your guys just as easily as they got past ours..
Since when has Mexico become the US's greatest friend. It seems that just a few years there was a lot of talk about the drug trade coming out of the Mexican border points. I guess the elite in the southern states (read Texas) need more cheap labour and a few more domestics.
