A simple observation, though obvious: imbibe as you will, but don't operate a car or other machinery after *any* booze. Do this for yourself and for the rest of us. Like "Cute" says, take a cab. Or walk. Or TTC.

Take Lecithin and Silymarin (herb), these 2 will protect your liver

Do these help no matter how much you drink. What about drugs.

Where do you by them ( not the drugs )

Sure I drink about the equivalent of 4 cups of hard liquor a week (say every other night) with a strong glass of REMY MARTIN or what-have-you.

My thoughts are that cutting back would be good for your health.
I have been to aa and ca and I won't decide for you whather you are an alcoholic because different people have different ideas, some would classify anybody who has more than 2 drinks an alcoholic, I guess that makes everyone in my company one.

Again I look at it now simply as a long term health issue for me.
I still drink and tend to binge drink but not as often.

This was serious, you can buy both at any decent vitamin or health food store. I think even Shoppers drug mart has it now.

I know you can drink a LOT more when you take these and it also helps if you take Vit. B complex with it

very helpfull

Thanks for all the responses this is very helpfull.

To answer a couple of questions my name is walter and I am a fan of Bond especially the Conners Bond.

I never drink in the morning or get shakes or puke or passout or any of that, however I do drink a couple of 26ers a month (depending on how many weekends there are in a month).

But the biggest revalation for me is that it is not about quantity is is more about why. I agree with that.

I think I will do what "cute in a kilt" did and quit for a couple months and then go from there. I doubt I would want to cut it out totally but if I can avoid habbits and patterns and reduce the amount I think I can live with that.

I think this makes sense , quitting totally is a pretty tall order.

It's funny how all the AA, 12 step and scientology people on TV always seemd to look and talk brainwashed. Or is it just me that notices
