I decided that TERB was in need of some type of award for the single most idiotic poster at present. The competition was tough with so many ignorant, hateful, uneducated, mean spirited, cut and pasters, racist, lie spreading, logic challanged, Hamas apologists (it is a terrorist organiztion) anti-semitic, morally bankrupt, ethically challenged contributers, but I have cut through all the garbage and have come up with a winner.
Before I mention the winners name, I would be remiss, if I didn't state that I alone am the judge. You want to give out an award, think up you own.
Now to be fair, one must be an active poster at present, if someone was banned, then I don't think it would be fair for them to be in the competition. After all, even Wayne hasn't won a MVP award when he wasn't playing.
I have always enjoyed surfing Terb. The reviews are usually interesting and informative. The political section was fun to look at, but now it has become like a car wreck.. I know I shouldn't look but something perverse in me leads me to that section.
So many of the posters who were up for this award, would be arrested and convicted if they spouted these views in public. After all, Canada does have hate laws to protect people. The internet is many things, some good, some bad, but one of the worst things about it, is that any shmuck can post anything without fear of retribution. Not only that, they can quote from other websites that are nothing more than professional hate machines.
Well without further adieu, the first and probably only winner of the
BIGGEST BUFFOON AWARD, goes to
GRYFIN.
If there is another poster on here who has less credibility than Gryf, I haven't found them yet. Sure there are a few close, but he still is the biggest buffoon of all.
He singlehandly (some might debate that, as he does seem to have allies) has turned the Political section of Terb into what it has mostly become today, a forum where yahoo's like him can spout off their hate filled anti-semitic regurgitation found from other wonderful websites. Why he chooses to post his dispicable views on an escort review board is anyones guess. My guess, is that if he would post on any logical, reasonable site, he would be banned, shunned, or completely laughed at.
At times I really wonder how someone ends up like that. Now maybe, he is Palastinian, and therefor has been indoctrinated in hate. I might then have a little compassion for him. The Palastinians in spite of themselves, derserve better. After all, the Gazan's voted for Hamas.
I have no doubt I will be roasted by the usual suspects, but thats ok. Remember, if they are occupied on Terb, than at least they are not out in the streets preaching hate.
The middle east is a very difficult subject. It is emotional for many. The problem is that too many ill educated, ignorant, hateful posters who have far too much time on their hands seem to live for nothing else. What could they be thinking when they post the same material over and over, either in existing threads, or starting new ones. What are your goals? What do you hope to achieve? Do you think you are going to win over the majority of the population with your lying hatefilled postings.
In summation, I think it would be wise to never post in any thread that Mr. Buffoon starts, but I know that is too much to ask, although you do have to admit, it would be kind of cool to see his threads just blowing in the wind. Too unrealistic.
