I agree with your assessment except, from day 1 of the arrest, PBD was in Tate's corner. Even prior to the arrest they were in Tates, fan base.
Maybe the reason Patrick kisses ass, is to grow his channel. The Taters will not give a second interview with the BBC, I am sure that PBD is on the top of the list for interviews if the Taters need to manipulate the news in their favor.
Absolutely, Patrick knows what he's doing to grow his channel. It is a 5-hour interview with 45 minutes cut which I'm sure Tate's lawyer went through it taking out anything she believes is a confession or will hurt them. Although I still think it will piss off Romanian authorities and give them a little meat on the bone to make sure they bury the Tates.

I think he will be charge with a crime (s). If he beats the charges he will be expelled from Romania. I am not sure of his citizenship, but be it in the U.S.A or U.K. he will be under LE / Tax department / Government scrutiny.
