You may have been wrong all along.

But in terms of the topic here, I believe that the news coverage in the US has been dumbed down to where it is useless. And if
young people are turning off the network news and turning in to a comedy show based upon news, I actually would consider that
a positive development.
I only watch the network news for sensationalism and entertainment, I get my news from the economist and the BBC.
