Good luck..................fold weak aces in early position and be wary of trying to bluff calling stationsI'm playing the WSOP-C Main Event at Playground starting Aug 28th but I'm no high roller - I won my seat at GG Poker.... I play only on GG (I find many of the players pretty soft) tourneys, never ring games.

Best part of playing poker and slots is booze is free as long as you are actively gambling. That was way back in the day.So I'm relatively new to these forums, but have played poker once a year for my birthday in niagara falls. After last year's success my buddy is taking me to vegas for my birthday to play with the "real pros" at a $10/$20 table. Not looking forward to it not because it won't be fun, but because as someone with auties I tend to struggle with flashing lights and sudden movements.
I mean I haven't had a drink in 10 years so that'd be kinda moot.Best part of playing poker and slots is booze is free as long as you are actively gambling. That was way back in the day.
I know they held tournaments a few years back but am unsure if they still do it. When I was going once a year at niagara one of the security guys mentioned it.Has anyone played in the poker rooms at Woodbine? Is it strictly cash games or do they hold tourneys?
I think last april maybe?..they hosted a Tourney.. WSOP Circuit Tourney...you had to have A Great Canadian Casino card....you could register on line but only with that card....if you went to Woodbine to register in person the line ups, i hear were horrendous... Holding Tourneys there is hit and miss...the cash games are high rake.and the wait times are longgggggggggggggg....Has anyone played in the poker rooms at Woodbine? I'm just on their website now, Thursday at 5:17 pm. For the $1/$3 NLH tables there are 17 people waiting for one of seats at the 6 live tables. For $2/$5 11 are waiting with 4 live tables. That's not too bad I guess.I think last april maybe?..they hosted a Tourney.. it would seem that alot of people need their poker fix and are willing to get bent over with an exorbitant rakeI'm just on their website now, Thursday at 5:17 pm.
