So how has the service been? Are there really no surprise fees or charges as advertised?

I've read great reviews about the $99 Nokia's reception & reliability, is it true?

Do all retailers offer the exact same deal or is there any possibility of throw-ins or rebates (off the initial amount, even $10) anywhere?
