Anyone here a 'prepper'?
Not in the "I have a bunker 25 feet below my backyard" sense...
But more in the vein of "what happens if the grid goes down for a few days or a couple of weeks?"

If so, what is in your 'kit'??

I stockpile large amounts of on sale pasta, powdered milk, rice and canned goods during the year just in case. Then every winter I give it all in one day to my local food drive. At that time I start stockpiling over the next year all over again.

So long as I don't need it just after the food drive I would be good for food and drink for months.

Good idea!

I wasn't before but have been getting into it recently now (thinking about the young 'uns). I keep a week's worth of water and food (canned goods, rice/pasta), as well as a fully kitted first aid supply and some basic survival tools. I have a power generator on order as well.

I've got my pink Lacoste shirt and Top Siders on - is that Prepper enough for you?

I thought once you put quotes around 'prepper' you were going to ask who jerks off before going to an hour in-call.

Happy New Year!
