PFFFFFF!!!! My guess would be at least 10 thousand, as much as 20 thousand. I think there are 3000 sex workers just in Niagara Falls. The Sundowner has about 1000 I heard.
Hmmm so let's assume that the number 20,000, and the GTA pop is 4 million. Let's also assume the age range to be 20-40 and that it accounts for 20% of the total population so we're now looking at 800,000 women.
20,000 divided by 800,000 = 2.5% wow...seems like a high number

The only number really involved is assume that half of Toronto is female. So you're dealing with 2 million people. 20,000 out of 2 million is 0.5% It's not a very high number. That's one in 200 women. Yes, I believe one in two hundred women in Toronto is a sex worker.
