Anywhere to play poker in Toronto on the weekends?

Will be in Toronto a little more frequently than usual (nice) and was wondering if there is anywhere to play poker (traditional games or tournaments) in the Toronto area instead of driving all the way down to Niagara?

Not a gambling man myself, but I believe there are poker tables at the Casino that runs during the Ex. While the Ex closes at 10 or 11, the casino stays open until 6 am. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong on any of these points.

See above for some limited legal live poker. there are some other locations outside the Toronto area, but can't be considered close. There are some other places that LE might not be happy about to play in Toronto, but I wouldn't know much about that

It's worth the drive to fallsview. If you go to the ex they only offer limit and the venue is gross, the food is shit and the bathrooms are disgusting.

Fallsview can be very profitable if you play correct and don't try and make too many moves. Bet your monster hands and the fish will call you.

There are also a ton of underground games but i find the rake too high to make it worthwhile.

There are plenty of undergrounds across the gta, you just have to find the right people to bring you in as they try to keep it on the low. Best bet is to grind out at the CNE casino and im sure one of them can help you.

Yeah, an outsider coming to one of the many undergrounds might be problematic on several fronts. As other have said, Rama and Niagara have options, they are not GTA, but only a couple hours away.

The powers that be do not want the proletariat gambling with any chance to win, but freely play their lotto games

Winning online has become increasingly difficult over the last few years, but there is still a great deal of money to be won.

Goto some training sites if anyone out there wants to learn. they are not all equal and not all coaches are equal but there are some great ones. http://www.deucescracked.com/, for example. They have a 7 day free trial. (I have no association with them, but trust them). There are others. Google is your friend. twoplustwo.com has lots of resources as well.
