This review should stir the trolls......
The reviews are just starting to come in. Let the trolling begin....
Too early to tell yet, but this does reek of desperate troll.....
You've just encountered the trifecta of Apple trolls, dumb, dumber and dumbest.....
This is the same graphic dumbest used to predict the failure of the iPad.... Trolls have no vision....

Ain't that the truth but do you really expect more from a simple Apple salesman like bottie?
After all Apple salesmen are not usually known for being the brightest bulbs on the tree!.....:eyebrows:
They just mindlessly regurgitate the same old same old Apple talking points that are drummed daily into their heads.....:D

Wonder how many of these silly watches bottie will buy?.....

Woody wanted to make sure you all know that he's dumbest..... To be fair, he's earned it over many years of dedicated posting.

I think Woody is a lot more computer savvy than you yourself are. Apple is just a Unix OS who copied Linux in every aspect possible.
Linux allows you to program, update, script code, etc.

So, how many phones do you have? Or just one head and you bought all the various colored straps? One for every day of the month. lol

OTB, where the heck are you?? No mention of Apples recent quarterly numbers?

Although I'm a Windows guy and believe Apple is guilty of stealing many of their best features, I certainly respect their product integration and ecosystem.

Sure wish I bought their stock a few years ago!!

Could be trading a few options on Apple stock for a new Ferrari ... as soon as he's back - we'll dump on him for backing this loser. :D

LOL!!

A Ferrari to add to his existing automotive fleet: Range Rover, Corvette, Porsche Turbo and an expensive bike I forgot the name of. Yet he lives near Cleveland ...... gotta wonder!

Nothing ever worn on a wrist, or anywhere else for that matter, has done any of these things before. Not only are these things mesmerizing but they are done in a productive way on a wristwatch.
Apple zealots remind me of Scientologists. They only focus on what comes from Apple - they have no concept of the world outside of their cult deity .. Apple. Like Scientologists, they infest all areas of public life including reporting. The above statement so naturally swallowed by a fellow cult member should be a sign that the author has no idea what is outside of Apple. The that Android has been providing the functionality that this author raves about is similar to the sudden embracing of NFC when Apple finally figured out how to put it in a phone (although still limited in fictionality) by OTB. It truly is a cult.
For the curious:

I thought Apple used Gorilla Glass now? On their phones anyway, yes, no?

Take these videos with a grain of salt. I admit dropping the watch from 4 feet to simulate it sliding off your wrist bis interesting but throwing at the concrete seems a little excessive unless you are a crash test dummy. I got a kick out of the hammer test of a Samsung S6 below:

After the test the drywall behind the unit was pulverised. I wonder if these are offspring of the Swazy Timex torture test guy - 'takes a licking and keeps on ticking'

Apple Watch doesn't use Corning's Gorilla Glass, instead it uses either ION-X or Sapphire glass depending on the watch model.

I don't know anything about these materials, so I did some googling:
Here'e a link to a good article describing each: http://www.iphonehacks.com/2015/03/...etween-sapphire-and-ion-x-glass-displays.html
This was interesting: http://www.cultofmac.com/293375/whats-tougher-gorilla-glass-sapphire-answer-might-surprise/

No doubt OTB is a fanboy, but in fairness he's never claimed technical expertise. He tends to focus on the financials and the product experience. You guys are allot more extreme in your anti-Apple opinions than he is in his pro-Apple opinions. I'm not a fan of the technical aspects of Apple products, but you can't deny Apple's success and incredible "ecosystem". LOL, that said, do you people think Windows is a GOOD operating system?? I have an Android smartphone, but allot of the apps on my kid's iPhones are amazing and still not available for Android.

Some of you (i.e. IM469) are at least trying to keep an open mind and stay balanced. But the rest of you ..... get a life!

.... do you people think Windows is a GOOD operating system??
Being a Linux guy, I rate Linux an EXCELLENT OS, plus it's FREE.

However I'd say Windows is a Good OS, as does > 90% of the world that uses it.

Started out on W95 and W98, all self taught and not knowing a thing about PCs back in '97. By the time XP came out and after taking time to learn PC basics, I found XP, Vista and W7 ALL rock solid and fine OSs. Played around with W8 & W8.1 and have no problems with it either. Most peeps with M$ problems; 1. Never took the time to learn PC basics, 2. Fail keeping their AV fully updated and 3. Fail doing the proper PM required to keep any Windows OS running optimally. Sure this is a pain but is needed if you want to be trouble free.

Getting tired of having to do all of the above I began to move to free Linux in '07.
Linux is more stable than M$, has bulletproof security and just runs.
At this point in time, all self taught again I have NO need for M$.
It's nice being FREE!.....:thumb:
