appropriate tipping?

My question is when visiting a SP, what is an appropriate/expected amount to tip them with, if any? I don`t have any experience with SPs, but I have seen a few dominatrixes and would usually throw in an extra $50-$100 on top of the session fee if they weren`t a clock-watcher. At SCs I usually only tip an extra $20 (used to go a lot higher when the dances were $10).
I`m just wondering how much is normal and how much is expected from the escort/dom/dancer. I don`t want to insult somebody if they`re expecting a certain extra amount by not supplying it; but at the same time don`t want to paying something extra if most others don`t have to. Any response from guys or especially providers would be appreciated.

Also, on a slightly related item, how much do you usually tip a desk clerk at a hotel or inn for an overnight stay. Just curious.

If they want to be treated like professionals, than don't tip them. If they however, went out of the way to meet you or do something out of the "norm" for you than probably some gratitude would be nice. That's how I see it and it's not cheapskating them because if I like their service I'll repeat as that's more than any tip.

Why on earth would you tip someone making such a high fee?

Tipping is for minimum wage service workers which in my view should be paid better and get rid of the silly idea of tipping.

If tipping makes you feel more manly for your own ego or if you have so many millions you just want to toss money out it may be appropriate.

But for us that value money and treat a SP like another professional many of us don't tip, think its ridcoulous.

I have never tipped anyone in the industry and never had any issue about it. I pay a fair price for fair service, not adding a silly tip.

As previously said, the best tip if your a nice customer is to be a repeat customer.

I agree it is wrong to tip an SP, but I have always believed that it should at the discretion of the customer as to if they would like to increase their donation. Just like when someone provides great service, I usually over pay and say thank you keep the extra. Its my way of rewarding above par service.

I began hobbying in '96 and I've never tipped anyone. As some posters have said here, the best tip you can offer is to be a repeat (or regular) client and I've done that with quite a few ladies in the past 9 years! I know the ladies love seeing regulars clients.

I believe the fee is the tip.... tipping should be very limted to very special circumstances. Even a SP requesting /joking about a coffee alone is expectation and I avoid these, usually shows in the service.

I tip when it is warranted . I have found myself in situations where we have run overtime or where I know the girl is handing over 50% of the fee and she has been way above normal.....a tip is warranted.

I never feel obligated to do so as you are at a restaurant and it happens maybe 20% of the time.

My gosh they are getting like $200/hr ! Not $4.00.hr. I work hard in my profesion long hours, available eves and weekends. I don't expect tips.

Why should outstanding experince be expected for those kind of rates without feeling need to tip.. blows my mind this kind of thinking.

If she works for an agency and only getting gee $100/hr that is her chiice because there are advantages. That's her choice.

Do you tip your lawyer, CPA, financial planner, Doctor, Dentist? They offer personal services also and often the SP is making more than some of them.

I'll try to clarify why/when I tip. If I'm in the States and see a HDH who provides expected services and nothing more, I don't even consider tipping. On the other hand, I saw Bobbi (who has becme one of my ATFs) for the first time right after she started working in Toronto. Her rates were quite low (I thought) for the level of service she provided and her level of service (as many can attest) is in the superior category. I therefore felt tipping was most appropriate and did so. So I guess when I think that I've gotten "more than my money's worth" thanks to the efforts of the provider, I tip, usually in the $50 range.
I also agree that treating these ladies with respect and becoming a repeat customer with those who provide high levels of service makes for the best possible tip.

We are in a service industry going above and beyond is part of it and that is what makes one girl stand out from the rest. As far as tipping goes no it should not be expected...I can see if the girl is working for an agent and is handing over 50% of the fee...then maybe. Or if you booked and hour and she doesn't watch the clock and goes way over....


As far as our rate? Yes we get 200/hr but think of the risk factor we face everyday. We don't know who is going to show up at our door. Yes we can make great money but for how long?

You pay $ 250 for an hour and then you want to tip . Are you nuts ?
When you say you tip when the service is way above normal I guess it depends what you expect. For $ 250 per hr I expect a lot and good service and I don't think it is the type of business where you tip.

No Tipping...Show Appreciation

When you come and see me and leave happy and book me again then I know I am doing a great job and that says it all.

This is not a stupid thread. I often get ask about tipping I have even been asked if I expect it. No Never.

However if you do see a regular girl and you really want to do something to show your appreciation is listen to what she likes, (chocolate, wine, flowers what ever keep is simple) all which can be under 20 bucks. It is a token of appreciation for all she does for you. That is why you return to your favorite SP.

If she puts a smile on your face it never hurts to put a smile on her face. This is a way to say thanks.
We do this all the time for our Doctors, Teachers, Paper boys, Hair dressers....just say thanks.

to tip or not to tip?

I do not mind tipping, but like anywhere else, it is for good service, a way to say that you appreciate the effort. That being said, I have no problems leaving a tip if I feel like it, or to not leave a tip if I do not feel like it. It is after all my choice, not the service provider's or some unseen code of ethics or a rule of thumb that you have to follow. To tip or not to tip? That is up to you to decide.
