Only if the infamous person is male. Karla Homolka in prison didn't seem
to have received as many love letters as Paul Bernardo.

Let's report this sexist discrimination to the Human Rights Tribunal. Maybe males are less enclamoured with murderous bastards (damn, that sounds so sexist).
