I took this test on line and apparently because of my life style I have a 5% chance of dieing. Don't understand this considering the abuse Ive put myself threw however they claim an eighty percent accuracy rate

Very interesting research and methodology behind that calculator

It gave by "Ubble" adjusted age as 10 years less than my actual age and gave me a 1% risk of dying in the next five years.

A similar financial calculator has determined that I will be broke before then!

I'm doing better than I thought.

I answered honestly all the questions.

I have just turned 45, but ranked the same as a 19 year old, and have a 0.3% of dying in the next 5 years.

The question should read are you going to live in the next 5 years...how many of us are walking around already dead, empty, purposeless and hopeless. Don't know about the rest of ya, but I constantly fight the creep of this. I don't worry about death, but I try to be very careful not to bring it on earlier then destined.

0.5% for me, although I needed to pick 40 even though I am 34. IDK, but this test seems lame. It would be better if it looked at your habits, weight, height, how often do you work out what you eat..etc...it just seems so simple and not really tailored to you and your personal lifestyle choices.

Compares us to Brits... fromall indications they must be a slow-walking, chain-smoking unhealthy bunch.

They said 4 percent which seems low since I had cancer last year.

Only 5 years remember.. if you are in remission, and even if the cancer comes back, it is unlikely you will die in less then 5 years. Even with cancer that has metastasized you will probably hold out a couple of years.

While I am a positive person and don't intend to let cancer take me- my oncologist certainly told me that I could be dead within two to three years. Cheerful chap, he was.

I'm 3.5 %. At first I thought the % completed was my chances of dying - at 65% ... I was wondering if I'd see another day.
