I wonder about the temperature drop. I was inside. So many clouds and only seen small parts of the eclipse.
But was surprised how quickly it got dark and how quickly the sun light came back out.

"Entity", a tiny bit better, but still not quite there. As for it being beyond human comprehension, it's within comprehension, "(something) created our Universe". Anyways, won't go back and forth about this, because we can, but it's exhausting like the other topic tied to it a lot, politics.Still a maybe. If there is an entity powerful enough to create our universe, it's way beyond human comprehension. Anyone who tells you "God says" or "God wants" is a total; fraud, that's all...
After staring into the Sun for a few seconds, I now have a strange permanent half moon dark space in my vision.Nevermind, you know there a lot of people that looked up without any eye protection
I did too. I pulled a Trump on that one.Nevermind, you know there a lot of people that looked up without any eye protection.
You are going blind of course! You need "Indian eyes" aka "people who are used to the sun eyes" to be looking at the sun. .After staring into the Sun for a few seconds, I now have a strange permanent half moon dark space in my vision.
Whats going on??
Same, I work there so I took a drive down to the waterfront. I couldn't get a good pic of the totality because of the clouds, but I caught it briefly on video.I went to Burlington instead. Got partially sunny skies and saw the eclipse 100%.
The total eclipse lasted for about 1:15 minutes. Pretty damn awesome!!
I'll upload pics tomorrow
Yes, that was noticeable.I wonder about the temperature drop. I was inside.
I remember my parents making a shoebox camera so we could watch it in southern Ontario. I was only five at the time, but I still remember what a neat experience it was.I saw 85% solar eclipse in Montreal, March, 1970

The sky didn't get much darker; certainly less than 20%. We watched it through home-made eclipse glasses. I think we used three or four layers of plastic photographic negatives as eye protection, and that worked fine.
How were the crowds down in the park? I read there was a London family that tried to get a Niagara hotel room, but got caught off guard with the crazy high prices. They should have just gone to Long Point. It was amazing.
Was watching the weather forecast in the morning and instead of driving to Niagra Drove 2 and 1/2 hours southwest and watch 3 mins of totality with clear blue skies from Long Point Prov Park The clouds cleared just in time for the solar eclipse
