Tried to see if any members had used this on line dating service for "attached", but only found some from ricahrgl.
NOt sure if he is just sharing his fantasies but I like his style.
Anyway I've been trying Ashley Madison for over a month now with no luck at all. I mean beside the meaningless auto-replies from some ladies, I had nothing. Send a number of messeges (paid credits) and no reply at all. I understand that the ratio of women to men is not good for guys at all, but I'm asking myself how many real women looking for advanture are there.
Or is it just a scam to get from poor schmocks as much money as possible, and the women's ads are just created by a bunch of Ashley Madison paid emplyees?
Has anybody had any luck with these girls?
Any good ones? Losers?
How long did it take to connect with any of them?

Any other suggestions?

Anywhere there's a Strip Joint
I paid $55 for a membership, sent out a few messages and received no response, so I think it's just a waste of time and money....

Between a rock and a hard place
Ashley Madison is....

Suspicious...

I've trolled every chat system and dating system on the web and phone alike for years. Never has the demographic been so balanced in favor of the males as it is on Ashley Madison. Hardly reflects the rest of the electronic dating world does it? This alone would make me suspicious if I didnt know the company's founder personally.

He is a local entrepreneur -- Toronto born Darren Morgenstern - The dark haired fellow in the suit who stands in front of a curtain justifying his company and his promotion of infidelity in general on the infomercials. Went to grade school with him. caught up with him briefly as adults from time to time. Nice enough guy but likes to make money any way he can. Runs some 976 and 1-900 #s also.

I wouldnt be surprised if 80 percent of the women are made up facsmiles of the real thing -- albeit very creatively done to look more realistic. Every age group, profession, non-profession, and nationality is covered equally over the week if you compile and consolidate the daily updates.

a friend of mine...put up her profile and picture on Lavalife for a couple of days...when she logged in again..she was found she had been bombarded with 200 Instant Messages, 100 Smiles and Emails

i tried it before and put my profile and picture up..and in the beginning i got some responses..most went no where...then nothing as i believe your profile gets pushed down the queue...when hundreds of new single guys are posting their profiles daily.

personally i believe if you want success in online dating...you really have to be protactive...put alot of time and effort in..send smiles...try to Instant Message women...pay $$$ to initiate the communication...and log in as much as possible.

Lex you are correct about lava. I have had some great times with women I have met there, but it does take some work... except for the blonde 25 year old from the falls area who contacted me. She drove up here and brought a bottle of tequila!

after being on ashley for a while, i think the whole point of the site is for guys to tell married women how hot they are, so they can feel good about themselves. then they don't have to leave their rich husbands, and they can still feel 'bad', cuz they did something 'dangerous'.

i wouldn't bank on meeting any women from there. i stopped paying money to ashley a while ago. the one thing that ashley is good for is getting amatuer porn from these housewives. you need to have your own pics to exchange for them first, but then it's wide open.

One thing for certain Ashley Madison (damn, even the name sounds sexy!!) and Lavalife aren't even in the same ballpark. Agree with all AM concerns. As for Lavalife have a co-worker who met his SO through them (they are both busy professionals) and he appears to be very satisfied.

I've been on AM for a few weeks, and have begun fairly brief email correspondence with a number of women. I'm not ready to pass judgement just yet. But it's clear that there are a lot more guys on, and it does take a bit of work to be noticed.

First it takes time to go through the member searches to find anyone interesting enough to "wink" in the first place. I think it's pointless to try to reach anyone who hasn't composed at least a little description of themselves.

Then it takes time to compose a message that speaks to the woman's profile, at least enough to be able to separate yourself from the "noise" generated by all the other guys. I think it's necessary to try to have something unique or different to say.

So, at this point I'd say it's been mostly an excercise in "creative writing", and mildly amusing. Certainly it's not a 'slam-dunk'.
I'll give it a bit more time ( 1-3 months) before deciding if it's worth continuing.

Thanks guys (and gals).
It does not look like there is a lot of interest in AM. And even less
guys getting lucky.
I will try fo another month or so and if I learn anything interesting, will let you know.
In the meantime I better go somewhere else to get some action...
MPs? SPs?
Incall? outcall?

hmm... well - if you do the math... (and yes - I have *grin*) - 75 CAN gets you 200 of those credit thingies - that's 40 emails up there - or where they REALLY get you - 10 hours of "live" chat (20 credits per hour)
Take into consideration these women are getting inundated by hundreds of messages constantly. Even if they wanted to, they couldn't keep up - so if you do hook up with someone, it's rare indeed when you get a response... so - 75 bucks to maybe e-meet someone - and chatting, 10 hours goes fast - three of those, and you're into MP/SP range
Angelina - you seem surprised at what the guys want up there... I'm curious - what were you expecting to find? btw - all I wanted was a coffee - really! ;)

What a waste of f'n money. Before buying credits, I would get the odd wink, private key, email, and daily list of new members. Now after joining I get NOTHING....what a bunch of b/s!

At least with $55 I could've had almost 3 dances with my favorite girl....
