Interesting thread but topic has been rehashed again and again. Funny how shyness is interpreted as having no confidence. I'd like to see a breakdown of demographics of how white men and asian men (E indians are also asian) view the dating scene.
I once saw this rather pretty comedian who is korean, i think, who said that everybody has yellow fever except asian men. Then she went on to say that don't asian men know that asian women are too good for them? Ho hum, thank god for x-box. LOL

Oh yeah, i white guy i work with who is very alpha male and decent looking said that he's having a hard time finding a girl in T.O. If he's having trouble finding a date, WTF am i gonna do. LOL

Ok, here is my take. Keep in mind my background is asian, and yes I have dated many white & black girls in the past.

First, I think asians are the most racist bunch on the planet. Gwai low this gwai low that.

Studies show that the BMW does not get the girl. You may think that the BMW make you look cool, but at the end of the day, you are still that same dull guy with a nicer car. I've never driven anything more than a Civic.

I've taken everything, from dance to cooking. Chinese guy replys in French. Huge points. The goal is to become multidimentional.

There is a big difference between Canadian born and FOBs. I think Canaidian born has a much higher success rate of hooking up with white. I find FOB asians, in general, quite boring. This includes girls as well. The asian accent may be a problem as well as it totally lacks charm. I have to say, even though I am asian, I have very few asian friends.

Finally, some asians, especially non-Canadian born, are very closed minded and like to hang out with their own kind. Even when it comes to food, they go for Chinese/Sushi or nothing. How many times have you seen a chinese couple or family go out for something like Roti. Almost never. And if you do see an asian in a place like Real Jerk, it's probably me. If you don't venture out, how do you expect to meet girls of other backgrounds?

their racism is more of a defense mechanism IMO, if everybody didnt make fun of them first. like the nerd vs the cool kids. even so, they keep it to themselves, whereas we see plenty of other races make fun of asians.

a bmw doesnt help, cause its like a civic. theyre everywhere. you need an R8 or something, exotics, etc, something that stands out. but even then, your car is pretty much just an ice breaker...

i think most who want to develop a relationship with whites are the canadian born ones anyways, but they still generally have extreme difficulty. FOBS couldnt careless, and usually well off from overseas.

I've never known a stereotype of black people to be in "dead end" jobs.... Hes just making conclusions to make himself feel better which is pretty low and may explain why hes not getting any girls. Thats one off occurence. How often do you hear about blacks targeting asians on a large scale? Black people are off killing themselves, they arent bothered with anyone else for the most part.

So because one rapper said a stupid thing they crucify all blacks yet black people werent the ones to force them into slavery to go and build railroads.

I get the sense that some Asian girls would rather go out with an overweight, balding white guy than with one of us. Many white girls seem to prefer a black guy with dead-end job than one of us even if we are well kept with good jobs.

Well there were the LA Riots in the arly 90's when the koreantown was targeted. Tensions between black and korean shop keepers have constantly flared up in LA and NY and in Chicago there was the deal with blacks and chinese shop keepers.

asians werent the only ones getting targeted..any business in the area was open season even the few black owned places; it just so happened that most of these businesses happened to be asian owned....oh and wasnt part of the problem a Korean shop owner killing some innocent black girl? The shop owner was even caught lying

If you ask any one from different countries.Racism is more on blacks than Asians.I travel to Asia and they dispise black people.The conversation begins with how's it going and where your from and next you'll know it's them blacks stealing and robbing.But in Canada the black population is not that much compare to UK or US.

My best SP experience is black and I see her still.

Funny story, I dated this white girl once from Quebec, total slut and had a background with alcohol and drugs. She was so hot for native guys, it was unreal. She would tell me stories about living in the reserves and pow wows and other shit. I have no idea what went through my mind as she was a total loser. Anyway, she went off for school in North Dakota and hooked up with some native professor. Anyway, in that instance, I lost to that native guy. In my mind, however, I was the big winner because she was harrassing me about getting married. God bless that native guy.
