Back to School

What no outrage over the asinine back to school rules?
This effects your ability to hobby

Most of the school boards / unions have pretty much been clueless from Day 1 but the results have been laughably bad and now many areas, incl Toronto, Mississauga & Brampton despite months to argue, drag their feet, and "consult" are surprised so many parents refuse to send kids back to school and are expecting to delay school year since processes / programs are not in place and need time to be created.

Just a ploy from the teachers union to keep their members at home while ranking in their huge unjustified salaries.
Not a single provincial of federal employee was laid off during the peak of the pandemic.
$$$$$ for working at home in pajamas and most likely only working 4 hours a day.

I already graduated.

Can we bury this in the Politics section please.

Are you looking forward to going back and completing your grade 11?

Funny how after screaming for weeks the teachers unions are finally starting to cave

It is not surprising that school unions do not want to return children to school. Teachers still receive their salaries and do not strain themselves, and parents at home try to teach their children independently. At the same time, the parents of these children still need to go to work and make sure that their children do not fall into depression from all this. My wife and I also suffered. It's hard. My children complain that they don't understand anything. Because of this, I had to look for other 4th grade reading worksheets. This helps them know specific topics a little and keep up with the school curriculum.
