I went to a US review board I go to on a regular basis this a.m. and instead of seeing the regular page, there was only a bar going across the page in the usual site colors with a racial slur. Then, porno images popped up, there was all this head-banger music, and from what I could tell, a million and fifty-two applications of my notepad popped up on the screen, too.
I had to shut down using the on/off switch and when I turned the computer (a Mac) back on, I erased my history, cleared the cache, and removed a few notepad files that were on my desktop. The file names began with "Jewish..", but I never opened them to find out more. 1) Besides removing the notepad files, does clearing history and cache help; like, what does that actually do?
2) Where do I stand (ie. phishing, viruses etc.)? I do not know a lot about this stuff.
