Not that I have ever stood anyone up for a date or anything, but I would have to politely disagree with you on this one for a number of reasons. First of all if he did have work to do, than he better come up with a very nice apology for you Karma. And by that I mean shoot the moon on whatever your heart desires. That is if he is into you, and did have loads of work.Strongbeau said:I have walked out of a meeting that was running late, for a project worth an obscene amount of money, to make it to a scheduled date.
We closed the deal at the next meeting. Deals can wait. Ladies shouldn't have to.
But on the other hand, if you are self employed you can afford to take the gamble of delaying a deal. But if you work as part of a company getting that work done at this time of year, (quarter end plus clean up day) than many people depend on what you accomplish in order to make a good living. Your superiors, subordinates may make a few extra hundred or thousands of dollars in one month or lose it all together if it lagged a day. I know that this is not the romantic version of reality, but sometime the tougher thing to do is give up on the girl and the fun and do the shitty thing and fulfill your commitments. I say trust your instincts. How did he sound when he told you of his problem? Was he a nice guy and this was his first infraction? You did say he was an ass in one of your replys, so is he?
