I have been through tattoo removal and it doesn't leave any ink behind. I had mine taken off ten years ago and now tattoo ink is designed for easier removal, rather then the six treatments I got years back now one has to go through one, possibly two treatments to have a tattoo taken off. I was discussing this with Nikki @ SRM and we pretty much came to the conclusion that is was one of them "Oh Crap, how do I get out of this one?"
I think there would have been charges laid if there was something foul about this. Most tattoo artists take their work very seriously and the likelyhood of one just going that far overboard on 3 stars is a bit of a stretch. It'd be lost money too.
He seems to be pretty straight up guy from his quote in the article. He was willing to pay for 1/2 (probably because that's what it would have cost him for a lawyer) to get the removal because he diesn't like to see a client unhappy with his work. He also kinda hinted that this accusation was good for his business as well.
Mr. Lucky: If she has been doing porn ... her dad (or the person who told him) would have to admit he was looking at porn to catch her ...lol
