I'm moving the end of this month and I want to switch to Bell ExpressVu, I am with Rogers now, does anyone have any experience with it and how do you like it?

The ExpressVu for Condos is not always delivered by satellite but by VDSL service... wire or fiber into the buliding. In some of the systems there is problems and more pixilated video.George OTJ said:Plus I have problems with the picture sometimes cutting out, or images freezing or sectios of the picture becoming pixilated - you know like when interviews pixilate out faces to hide their faces.
So yeah, I think I'd rather have stayed with Rogers.
I know I won't switch. The satellite technology is one way and so far behind two way technology. Okay, I'm addicted to TMN on demand. (You can watch movies anytime you want and you don't have to wait for scheduled showings) Satellite doesn't offer this. That being said, I know some people who are happy with satellite and others that don't like the channel options. To each their own.Geminixoxo said:I'm moving the end of this month and I want to switch to Bell Express View, I am with Rogers now, does anyone have any experience with it and how do you like it?

Try Starchoice! They seem to have better srevice than Bell ExpressVu. I have had no problems with mine, and no nonsense with the messages and advertisements.davo53 said:I have had expressvu for almost 4 years. I have the 3100 receiver and have had problems in the past with 'missing' images....especially noticeable with sports, the motion appears jerky. The technical people were not much help, wanting to blame my installation, the cable length etc etc. But when they put a new sattelite up, and my signal strength went from around 80% up to nearly 100%, the problem went away. Overall picture quality is excellent, except sometimes during a thunderstorm. One annoying thing they do is download program schedule data at random times...your picture goes away for about 20 seconds while you watch this stupid message about downloading the schedule. Usually at a critical time in the movie you are watching!
