here is another vote for qc microbrews. i'm not that big of a beer drinker but during a short stint in montreal i learnt the art of microbrew appreciation.

my faves have got to be le cheval blanc and coup de grisou, both made by les brasseurs rj. http://www.brasseursrj.com/

"History: Coup de Grisou was introduced on the market in October 1996. It is a copper-coloured Ale-type beer, containing 5% alcohol, refermented in bottle. Description With a potent, explosive taste, this beer has a powerful aroma of buckwheat and coriander giving it tan unbelievable density. Bottle refermentation imparts a yeast-enriched flavour. Formats 341mL and 660mL bottle Draft 50L, 30L kegs Servings Recommendations Serve between 6° and 8° C, preferably in a hybrid glass."

that summation is making me thirsty.

Sergeant Major IPA

Perhaps the most complex beer I have ever tasted, to be had only at the Beer Bistro and the Esplenade Beermarkt.

Kilkenny or Caffrey's... served room temp.

Canadian beer? i'd rather shots of Gibson's finest or Wiser's with a coke, straight or on ice.
