I grew up listening to this music and remember seeing my first heavy metal concert (Iron Maiden) in the 90s at the government at 16, I used to hurry home from school to catch Power 30 on much Music with Teresa Roncon (I used to have such a crush on her).

A lot of good ones - I guess my favorite oldie would be Whole Lot of Love - Led Zeppelin - I'd even notch it above Stairway to Heaven just based on the primal scream that follows 'you need it ....'

I remember when it was the Power Hour...

Something about White Zombie's "More Human Than Human"...fuckin awesome.

It's little more obscure, but Megadeth's Train of Consequences is also a killer song from that era
