Inside Outside Upside Down
I had a chance to read some of her blog, very interesting and really well written a couple of points while Im single now I had in the past dated a couple of MPA's, I personally never had an issue with what they did what happened in the room was just that ,work .When she left there and came home to see me it was our time together and unless she had a bad day for whatever reason, we rarely talked about her job I can totally relate to Conor (except I have cool arctic blond [grey] hair). The second point is something Im sure alot of guys who see escorts think, what does she think of me am I some middle aged loser who is resorted to paying for sex or am I a nice good looking guy who is looking for a beautiful woman to spend some time with, for me I hope its the latter, I treat them I would expected to be treated, with respect. And a great massage.

you really do use sweeping generalizations...it only cloaks ignorance........i liked the other Got Gusto better..
The generalizations are applicable and required. I don't know the particulars of these people, and even if I had read the blog fully, it's doubtful I could provide any specific insights based on posts about someone's life from a blog.

What generalization do you take issue with (let me know and perhaps I can expand on them)?

1) Most men would not accept their gf fucking other guys?
2) Many SPs live in an upside down world?
3) Many SPs don't save their money?
4) Many hobbiests would save and invest the kind of money that SPs made?
5) Other

I accept the author's generalizations about her clients just as readily (while many here take offense to it, believe it's ignorant and so on). She speaks from direct experience, and her experiences confirm what I've observed and know about men.

I've read the whole thing and while she does come off as having contempt for her clients, she does say that she only wrote about her bad clients. She somehow feels they are worthy to be written about but the good clients, she chose not write about them, except for one.

For anyone who has only read this thread and not the blog, I encourage you to read the whole thing.

I kind of feel like she doesn't take enough ownership of her decisions. She blames having $25k in debt for resorting to escorting. That's really not that much in the grand scheme. She had a $39k a year day job that she hated. But she also says she made $37.50 an hour. If I did my math right, she was only working 20 hours a week at her day job. She could have gotten a night job. Well, I guess she did. As an escort. But she could easily have gotten a waitressing job or something like that. But she didn't. This aspect of her decision making certainly gets short shrift in her writing.

Here's the hell of it.

If "Bianca" and "Conor" (Dylan and Dylan) are still together, and in fact remain together (doubtful) at some point I guaran-fucking-tee, that she will get into it with him and the issue of her being a prostitute will come up and she's going to start throwing things in the aprartment and she's going to scream at him with every ounce of pent up rage that she has in her and she's going to lash out in a fury at "Conor":

"What kind of a man are you that you'd let the woman you supposedly love prostitute herself?"

"You never once tried to stop me"

"Do you know how humiliating that is?"

"I supported you on my back, and you call yourself a man"

"How do you think that makes me feel?"

Don't think for one nano second that this conversation is not going to happen. This girl grew up in Hamilton Ontario, the daughther of a firefighter and a secretary. She's born and raised in Steeltown and no matter how "hip" or "cool" she may think she is, at the end of the day, we are all products of where we come from and in her heart of hearts, she will despise Conor for letting her do what she did. He should have stopped her, but he didn't.

Conor and Bianca are doomed.
Well said.

It's called "Denial" and it's a wonderful thing.

Blame others for your situation rather than blame yourself.

I used to be bad at this, but in the last 10 or so years whenever I get fucked over, I just remind myself that I have no-one to blame but myself. I sleep better at night.

I've read it cover-to-cover. Did quick math, related to some of the situations.
I bet she will be back in the business soon....but better prepared and may be one of those "high ends". I agree that working as SP is one of the hardest jobs...but the lure of money is too much, perhaps the addiction to the money.

Blame other/circumstances for your failure, and you get all the reasons to justify your actions.

She never had fun in doing what she was doing. The essence of the writing is that all the men are somewhat inadequate at some level, and she has to "save" the day while getting paid good money.

$25K ain't too much for a "man" ! Combine this with SO also has a job. Been in debt way over $25K with a partner who could not work....worked my ass off at two jobs and weekends!! It worked out well...

Interesting read, yes!! Sympathy...no!! Will she make a good write...yes!! but at the expense of others' (her past/future clients). So when she get a book out, lots of royalty money...Johns will always be the one to be looked upon...ironic :)

I read a few entries. It seems to be in the style of Secret Diary of a Call girl. It is an interesting read. Certainly not original idea.

OP thanks for the link.

Society is fascinated by the whore.

Always has been, always will be. A woman who pulls her panties down and spreads for money. We are both titillated and glued to the screen at the same time.

But it's been done a thousand times.

Does anyone remember Evelyn Lau? Lau was born in Vancouver to a strict Chinese family (Tiger Mom) from which she rebelled and ran away. She ended up on the streets of Vancouver doing drugs and selling herself. She kept a diary during this time and ended up writing a book that chronicled her life as a teenage runaway and street prostitute in Vancouver. It was a huge success for her and she found herself the darling of the university literary snobs and Academia. Problem was that it was her story that everyone found fascinating, not her writing. Where do you go once you've blown your load about being a teenage street prostitute in Vancouver?

Whos gonna be the first to post a pic of Bianca aka Dylan !!!
If any asshole does that - he should be banned.

You should be given a weekend pass for even suggesting it you asshole.

The girl is entitled to her privacy. What's more, she's retired - so let her be.

do pics without face really violate privacy? I'd honestly like to remind myself what she looks like because I remember that I fucked her but absolutely do not remember how she looks like (except that she is not a model material because then I would remember)

I found some images that Cupid's used but they honestly could be anyone. I won't post links or reply to pms out of respect to JTK and lady in question.

This is brilliant stuff, and we can all learn from it. I've not finished all the pieces, but this IS a book (with a wee bit of editing). I hope she continues to write - if she's as good a sex provider as she is as a writer, meeting her would be a delight.

Although I agree with jk, writing a column with this kind of detail will attract attention. If she shared her personal information with her clients in the past and if the column is mostly true, it is very easy for people to find out on the Internet who she is and who her boyfriend is in real life.

I tend to agree, especially since she put details in about her clients that could easily identify them to someone that knows them.

I disagree.

I haven't read the entire blog, but the parts I did read - I believe she has changed names (if she did indeed work for cupids, she was scant on the details there and changed names of the madam, etc.) and the like. Even the old man in Hamilton in the nursing home, I doubt she used his real name. (If she did, she'd be nuts.)

Some other poster on this thread was able to figure out who she was somehow.

Anyway, we don't need a pic of the girl. She's retired.

Read it for what it is.

Very well written and seems to be a prelude to a novel or a script.

Something about this just seems to slick. Granted the author's skill with prose is a given my spidey senses tell me we are being duped here. If I were to hazard a guess, my first thought is that an up and coming author has done some research ( including reading this board ) and created the characters in this story.

That being said, this is an excellent read!
