But the thread title's fine: Most drivers have no idea how to share either with pedestrians, cyclists or even other drivers, and insulated in their steel cocoons, they have little incentive to learn. How's about a randomly selected 1000 drivers be ordered off the road whenever a car kills someoneon the road: a cyclist, pedestrian or in a car. Maybe then, with their precious toys under threat, drivers might smarten up.
Of course as a fair and just society we would apply the same rules to killer cyclists and pedestrians.

That applies to the entire "motivational" poster being a fake.... it seems the picture in question is unfortunately entirely too real.

I am personally offended that you guys think a drunk driver plowing into a group cyclists is a laughing matter. I suspect some of them were seriously injured if not killed!
How is this any different than a psychopath opening fire on a group of unsuspecting students, or restaurant patrons?!

As if the car was using the cyclist as bowling pins....
