What Commissioner/Minister of Corrections or Governor/Prime Minister is going to be stupid enough to put such a high profile prisoner in the general prison population. For everyone like yourself there will be 15 who will say you let him be murdered.

Now at least in Pennsylvania's case they have both a prison hospital and a penitentiary with a high profile prisoners wing.

Judge Steven O'Neill will reportedly not grant bail pending appeal.

This means Bill Cosby is expected to be taken away to a cell shortly :wave:

They said on the news he'll have to serve at least 3 years before he can apply for parole, and usually parole requests are granted after 2 years or so.
So he's looking at most likely 5 years in jail (assuming he doesnt croak first)

Was gonna say they will lock him up and make him watch re-runs of the Cosby show but he's legaly blind. My bad, he's 81 years old and may spend rest of his life locked up. it's rather Sad.

Crosby is up for more prosecution from other victims. The Americans unlike Canada have consecutive sentencing so when going forward he may ultimately get a sentence on paper of several decades. He is destined to die while incarcerated. He has no assets now so civil suits will be fruitless. Andrea Constance got over three million interest civil suit as well as a victory in the criminal trial.

Many of the accusations against him will never go to trial, since the Statue of Limitations has already run, indeed this was in significant measure why the Montgomery County Pennsylvania District Attorney's Office chose to proceed with Andrea Constance's complaint.
