Yes, it is an obvious undisputable fact that this operation happened while Obama was the President.

Was Obama integral in the gathering of the intelligence?
In his public address, did he not mention that he wanted to make the capture or killing of Obama a priority when he took office?

Not saying that Bush would've done otherwise. Sadam was caught with some luck.

I think the intelligence improved a lot since the military intervention in both Iraq and Afghanistan.

One of the reasons cited for the failure of the USA to prevent 9/11 or avoid terrorist attackes was poor intelligence or the network to gather same post Cold War for Islamic Fundamentalist Extremists.

The reality is that the US has massive amounts of excess military and intelligence capacity for Iraq and Bin Laden and a hell of a lot of other issues.
Citation needed. It seems to me that if the US prioritizes something it is more likely to get done.

Al Queda threatens to unleash nuclear hell when/if Osama is killed. Claims to have a nuke stored in Europe somewhere:

http://news.ninemsn.com.au/world/8241119/capturing-bin-laden-would-unleash-hell

The mastermind of the 9/11 attacks warned that al-Qaeda has hidden a nuclear bomb in Europe which will unleash a "nuclear hellstorm" if Osama bin Laden is captured, leaked files revealed.

The terror group also planned to make a 9/11 style attack on London's Heathrow airport by crashing a hijacked airliner into one of the terminals, the files showed. Khalid Sheikh Mohammed told Guantanamo Bay interrogators the terror group would detonate the nuclear device if the al-Qaeda chief was captured or killed, according to the classified files released by the WikiLeaks website.

Sheikh Mohammed, the self-professed mastermind of the September 11, 2001 attacks on the United States, has been held at Guantanamo since 2006 and is to be tried in a military court at the US naval base on Cuba over the attacks.
His nuclear threat was revealed in Britain's Daily Telegraph newspaper, one of several media outlets which have published the classified assessments of detainees at Guantanamo.

The German weekly Der Spiegel, also citing WikiLeaks, said that Sheikh Mohammed had told his interrogators he had set up two cells for the purpose of attacking Heathrow in 2002. The aim was to seize control of an airliner shortly after take-off from Heathrow, one of the world's busiest airports, turn it around and crash it into one of the four terminals.

Sheikh Mohammed said one cell had been formed with the aim of taking flying lessons in Kenya, while the other had been tasked with recruiting participants.
He said the plot had been discussed several times at the highest level of al-Qaeda. One component had involved the infiltration of ground staff at the airport, according to Der Spiegel.

Another attack given the green light in late 2001 would have targeted "the tallest buildings in California" with hijacked airliners, Der Spiegel reported.
The attackers would have gained access to the airliner cockpits by setting off small bombs hidden in their shoes, it said.
Sheikh Mohammed, captured in 2003 in Pakistan, also claims to have personally beheaded US journalist Daniel Pearl in 2002 with his "blessed right hand" and to have helped in the 1993 World Trade Centre bombing that killed six people.

Der Spiegel noted that his "confessions" should have be treated with caution as they could have been extracted through torture. Sheikh Mohammed is known to have undergone the method known as "waterboarding".

Former US president George W. Bush claimed in his memoirs published last year that using the interrogation technique - which simulates drowning - helped prevent planned attacks on Heathrow and London's Canary Wharf business district.
He also told the London Times newspaper in November that it was "damn right" that he had authorised use of the method on Sheikh Mohammed

Why would you require a citation?
Do you have no idea of the size and budget of the US military and intelligence agencies?

Do you think it makes more sense that Obama had to transfer resources working on Iraq to work on Bin Laden?
If this is so, why are you disputing yourself?
Plainly Presidents just give orders and don't do the actual work. Obama gets about 1% of the credit for raising the priority of going after bin Laden from the lower priority it had under Bush(*), the other 99% of the credit goes to the intelligence team and the team on the ground.

Please tell me how many intelligence assets were assigned to the bin Laden case under Bush, and whether it was more that were assigned after Obama prioritized it?

You claim to know that the US has enough resources that it made no difference. I am asking how you know this.

It seems to me that US intelligence is resource constrained like everything else, and that if the President prioritized it, they would have increased the number of people working on the file.

And a (conspiracy fodder) question ...
Has anyone seen where they got the DNA to compare with OBL?
One paper said they were 99.9% sure - that's only 1 in 1000.
So roughly 3,000,000 matches in the whole world?
I am sure there will be better explanations as time goes on.

They have concrete proof, they are debating whether to release the photos.

Bin Laden was already on their radar and a highly significant target.

In light of 9/11, I think it is highly unlikely that any President would deprive his military and intelligence agencies of whatever they required and requested to deal with America's number one most wanted terrorist.
The President is the Commander-in-chief and the leader of an extensive team with many layers.
He is not the Dictator-in-chief.

Is it possible that Bin Laden evaded capture because of a lack of US resources assigned to him?
Yes.
Is it more likely than not that this is the reason, I highly doubt it and see no basis to make such an assumption.

The US has the capacity to fight 2 major wars, and I don't mean Iraq and Afghanistan.
The amount the hunt for Bin Laden taxed this capacity is a drop in the bucket.
There is only so much assets and personnel that would be required for a particular task.
It's not like he was caught in a random sweep of caves and mansions made possible with more boots on the ground.
It's not like he was caught on satellite because of more technicians looking.
It's not like fighting a tug-of-war and just adding more bodies to the line.

But of course when confronted with simple realities like that you're going to veer off into idiotic personal attacks.
Your perception of reality is highly suspect.

I did not attack you.
Your posts are already here for all to see and you are quite full of yourself and proud of them.
Why would an annoying arrogant attention whore suddenly whine about some attention?

That pic is a fake. It was doing the rounds of the internet 3 years ago
Doh!

As for "time will tell", if they have a nuclear device hidden, they'll be using it very shortly.
Anything after a few months won't count, because maybe they didn't have it and are only talking shit now, who knows.
But like I said, if they really had it, they would have used it by now, I mean WTF are they waiting for?
Were they hoping to use it as a bargaining chip? "Don't kill Osama and we won't use 'the device!'" ??? lol...rrright.

If not a nuclear bomb, a massive dirty bomb is much more likely and could do almost as much damage.

But obviously I hope you're right and Al Queda are just bluffing
