BIOS and Driver Problem?

I've gotten into the habit of creating a smaller partition for Windows so that if my Windows craps out on me (which has happened in the past), I can just reformat the partition and reinstall Windows on it. Otherwise, if I wanted to wipe the drive and start fresh, I'd lose all my other data.

my main drive is a 150 GB Raptor which is not partitioned. The drive is half full of about 75 GB. I also have 7 other drive for a total of about 2.1 TB of storage. I ghost the raptor to two of the other drives once in a while. Pain in the ass to reinstall all the programs I have installed, if it crashed or if windows gerts corrupted.

I don't use raid as many other people I know have had problem with it. I have all my data on two of the other drives.
